Heart is a muscle that pumps blood to every organ to maintain oxygen and nutrients to provide body to energy in order to keep health body. Heart failure is divided two main parts, right sided heart failure and left sided heart failure. Patient with right sided heart failure experience symptoms such as swelling in the feet
or ankle, weight gain, weakness, abnormal heart beat and swollen of the abdomen due to fluid buildup in the body. Whereas, individuals with left sided heart failure present different symptoms for instance, cough, shortness of breath, chest pain, low oxygen level in the body, using two pillows at night to sleep well. There are risk factors that are responsible for heart failure. Some are changeable such smoking, individuals who are smokers are high risk in developing heart failure because nicotine constricts blood vessels. Also, being overweight or being obese is increased risk for cardiovascular disease due to excess body fat in individual body. When an individual has high blood cholesterol in the body his or her risk for formation of block in the blood vessels are high which creates blood not to flow easily to target organs. Physical inactivity or lack of exercise can result heart muscle to dysfunction in regard to weakness of heart muscle which could be responsible low blood flow in the body. All above mentioned risk factors are modifiable. In order one to change such behaviors, an individual has to be proactive and quite smoking, do physical exercise to decrease his or her risk for cardiovascular disease and promote good health. However, there are other risk factors which cannot be modified, for instance age, as we become older our arteries narrow and become weakened which result an increased chance of heart disease. Another risk factor is gender; even though both female and male can be exposed to get effected by heart disease but being a male are greater risk in heart failure.

Congestive heart failure represents the end product of the many conditions that reduce the thrusting ability of the heart. Congestive heart failure is not a detailed disease but a illness that is measured by the inability of the heart to pump blood adequate with the metabolic needs of the body. Heart failure is accompanied by overcrowding of the body tissues. For instance, heart failure may be shown as an acute condition as in pulmonary edema or as a chronic condition as in congestive heart
