Fear My biggest fear was riding a roller coaster. I couldn't imagine myself getting on a roller coaster ever. I wasn't that brave enough to even think I would ever be one. I wasn't only scared from highest , but i was also scared of thinking about going really far up and rolling down as fast as possible. I was only 14 years old. I was always thinking of how can I get brave enough to get on a roller coaster. Sometimes I think of how people are brave enough to be in a roller coaster. I had a friend who is never scared from almost anything he will often swim really deep into the pool, and he loves to ride roller coasters and he pretty much loved the thrill. I used to ask him on his first time going on a roller coaster. He always replied with a smile and said, ''it's easy if you don't think about it.'' The day finally came and I went to ride my first ever roller coaster. I played almost every game at the carnival and finally I summoned the courage to step into the roller coaster line. John and I waited for almost 10 minutes to get on the roller coaster. I almost talked myself out of doing it. After the long wait in the line it our turn to get into the roller coaster. I was shaking I had no idea what will happen to me. I just took my friend advice and didn't think …show more content…
While waiting john started to crack jokes he asked '' Why can't zebras play baseball ?'' I replied, '' I don't know. '' Then John said ''Because three stripes and you're out'' I laughed a little after getting the thought on my head. John asked again '' What do you call a camel with no humps?'' I replied '' I don't know. A horse ?'' John said '' no-no-no! Hump-free. get it ?'' I finally smiled. Then laughed. John made me forget about how I was afraid about the whole thing. We got on the first seats that was the only way I would want to do it. As the employ started to check on the belts and made sure that we are safe during the
It was the summer of 2012 and my family was taking another trip to Six Flags Great America. Earlier that summer we went just for me to be disappointed. At the time I wasn’t 54 inches yet and couldn’t ride any of the rides that I wanted to because they were the most popular at the amusement park. But, I hit a growth spurt between trips and we planned to ride all of the big rollercoasters. The one that I was most terrified of at the time was Raging Bull, one of the tallest, fastest, and longest steel coasters in the US. As we started to wait in line for the ride I was shaking with both anticipation and fear and began to rethink my idea to ride the rollercoaster. I decided to stay in line and see what many people thought was a great coaster.
A roller coaster is a thrill ride found in amusement and theme parks. Their history dates back to the 16th century. It all started in Russia, with long, steep wooden slides covered in ice. The idea then traveled to France. Since the warmer climate melted the ice, waxed slides were created instead, eventually adding wheels to the system. The first roller coaster in which the train was attached to the track was in France in 1817, the Russess a Belleville. The first attempt at a loop-the loop was also made in France in the 1850s. It was called the Centrifuge Railway. However, government officials quickly diminished the idea when the first accident occurred. Inventors since then have continued to capitalize on people’s love of a great thrill, always trying to make them bigger, faster and scarier!
Zebra helped John by telling where the principles office was, so that he could conduct an art class in the summer. As a thank you note, John Wilson drew Zebra’s face, and put the message, Adam, with thanks, John Wilson. He told John that people call him by the name Zebra, because of his last name. John Wilson asked for the paper back, crossed out Adam, and put a picture of a zebra over it. “He knew he was asleep.
The next day we went to Hollywood Studios at Disney World. It was really hot that day, but it was still super fun. That was my first time going on a roller coaster. I was really scared, but my parents convinced me to go on one, and now I love roller coasters! We went on this ride that was supposed to be like flying through the sky around the world called Soarin’. It was a really cool experience. We also went on this ride called the Tower Of Terror. It was really fun.
The bus that took us to the Theme Park was huge, with room for a
A roller coaster demonstrates kinetic energy and potential energy. A marble at the top of the track has potential energy. When the marble rolls down the track, the potential energy is transformed into kinetic energy. Real roller coasters use a motor to pull cars up a hill at the beginning of the ride. Cars that are stopped at the top of the hill have potential energy. As the car rolls down the hill, the potential energy becomes kinetic energy
As odd as it sounds a roller coaster did in fact help develop my most important relationship. From as early as I can remember, my family has had the annual tradition of visiting Dorney Park. This trip was always the highlight of my summer and holds some of the most important bonding moments I have with my cousin Nick. The day was always all about us. We sat next to each other on every ride, shared a variety of greasy foods, and most importantly, we rode Steel Force as much as possible. Nick has Down Syndrome, and pretty much whatever he says goes. This is how our tradition of Steel Force started. After riding it for the first time, Nick and I loved it more than life. We would run up the steps to the ride, pop in the first open seat, ride the coaster, jump off, look at our strategically planned on-ride photo, and repeat. This yearly tradition
Once-upon-a-time, there was a farmer named Phildo, who owned a pig. The pig's name was Beth, and she weighed about twelve hundred pounds. Phildo was very proud of her. Everywhere he went Beth was right there behind him. People passing him along the sidewalk would say good morning and comment on how hippo-like Beth. Phildo would smile and raise his hat good morning.

Nathanael was 11 when he went to his first roller coaster, California Screamin’ in Disneyland. Nathanael did not want to go one it because he was afraid of heights, and California Screamin’ is one of the tallest rides in Disneyland. There were many different rides in Disneyland that he enjoyed but this was easily the biggest one
After what felt like forever to Aden, his parents agreed to let him keep the lonely puppy. Aden was ecstatic! He picked the puppy up and cradled it in his arms. “Do you know why this puppy is special?” Ms. Morris enquired. “No. Why?” answered Aden. “This puppy is small for his age. Just like you!” she replied.
This citizen had a peg leg and an extremely stern face. “Say, is that poor donkey your beast?” He asked the miller. The Miller smiled cluelessly, “Why yes, he is.” The stern-faced man looked taken aback. “You’d do better carrying him than he you!” He said sarcastically. Unfortunately, the simple Miller did not catch the sarcasm in the man’s voice. Him and his son tied up the donkey’s leg and attached the ropes to a long pole so that they might carry it on their shoulders. It was not long before many towns-people saw the poor, tied up donkey and began to sneer and laugh. Naturally, the donkey became very humiliated and uncomfortable . With several swift kicks, the donkey loosened the ropes. The Miller and his son were unfortunately carrying the donkey over a bridge at the moment. The ropes came undone and the poor donkey fell into to the rushing river. The donkey was drowned within seconds of struggling. The pain of this moment hit the Miller like a stone to the stomach, he instinctively dropped to his knees and began to weep With no donkey to sell now, the Miller was distraught; never before had he been so

Your friends have to practically convince you to change your mind in matter 30 seconds. At this point you can hear your own heart beating in your ears. Everyone seems to vanish and the only thing that you can see is the seat of the roller coaster that has sweat on it due to the previous rider whose nerves got the best of him. There is no turning back now and you have no choice but to get on the ride. Sitting on the ride, waiting for the ride to begin is the most heart wrenching part. You cannot prepare yourself to be flown 50 miles per hour. When you take off, it feels as though your breath is being pulled from your body. For a slip second, you feel like you can’t catch your breath, and you can see the people in front of you desperately trying to gasp for
Questioning Sully’s answer the giraffe tried to understand what a zapt was. So the giraffe asked in a questioning answer, “what’s a zapt?!” Sully smiled and said, “it’s part zebra, alligator, pig, and a turtle,” with a big grin. Sully started to hear a deep chuckle coming from one of the figures, it sounded as though it were a lion. Frightened and afraid, Sully backed away from the group.
