A horrific murder happened in tiny Skidmore on December of 2004. Lisa Montgomery and Bobbi Jo Stinnett met and found out that they had much in common and became good friends (Nunes 85-86). Surprisingly, Bobbi and Lisa met in an internet chat room. Bobbi was into puppy breeding and she occasionally served as a judge. Lisa lived in Kansas where her close friends were shocked about what she was talking about. Of course, Lisa shrugged it off and she sent an email to Bobbi saying that she wanted to see the puppies (Nunes 85-86). When Lisa met Bobbi Jo she had a fake name which was Darlene Fisher because she didn’t want Bobbi to know her real identity. When Lisa sent Bobbi the email she had a criminal intent on her mind. She was planning to choke Bobbi into unconsciousness and then cut open her womb and steal Bobbi’s unborn baby. When Lisa arrived at the house she threw a rope around Bobbi’s neck and choked her until she was unconscious. That is when Lisa took a knife and started to cut open Bobbi’s stomach. Lisa had to cut through skin, fat, and muscle to get to Bobbi’s uterus. Bobbi’s baby was in eight-month gestation; Lisa cut and tied the baby’s cord. Lisa stole the baby and fled to her house in Kansas. Unfort...

Amber Hagerman, and her five-year-old brother, Ricky, pedaled their bicycles to an abandoned grocery store. This was a typical place for children to ride their bikes because it was an abandoned parking lot with lots of room to play and ride. Minutes later, Ricky turned to head back home, about a block away. Jim Kevil, a 78-year-old retiree, stood in his backyard not far...

Maryclaire Dale’s article “Kindergarten kidnapper tells girl, ‘I’m not a monster’”, appears in the Bucks County Courier Times and it tells the people of Bucks County how a woman kidnapped a kindergartener from school. In Philadelphia during January of 2013, a girl was taken from her kindergarten classroom and “sexually tortured during a bizarre overnight ordeal.” The girl was an 8-year-old and she had been abducted by “former day care worker Christina Regusters”, who was 22 years old. ...onerak and tried to lead him away from the women and the officers insisting that the boy was his 19 year old lover and that while drinking they had, had an argument and Konerak ran out of the apartment. The two women pleaded for the officers to take the young boy away. But instead returned him to Dahmer, they never checked the boy’s age or searched who Jefferey Dahmer was; if they had they would have seen that he was still on probation for molestation charges. Once at the apartment officers noticed a strange smell but did not seek out the source of the stench, which had been one of his previous victims. Once he was left alone with the boy he murdered him and dismembered the body, and like the others kept his skull as one of his many souvenirs.

This story will always stick in my mind, mostly because someone snapped over something so minuscule and innocent lives where token. This teaches a lesson of not only beware of the people I meet online but also you can never be too careful when it comes to trusting people around you and your family. Just to think someone so young can commit a crime so heinous. That’s terrifying. Many lesson can be learned from this and this
It was a cold, damp morning, around three A.M., when the call came out. It seems there had been a rape and beating of a small child, about six years old. The detectives were called in from their homes, where they had been sleeping. The officers were tired, groggy, and mad as hell at what had happened to the little girl. This is an awful tragedy that occurs all too often. Stories, like the one I just described, are played out weekly on the television show Law and Order S.V.U., where actors, playing Detectives Benson and Stabler, are the ones answering such calls. Let’s take some time and compare this television show to every day life and see how close it comes to reality.

Hesitatingly, Derrick set off with Eric. He never made it to the park. That same day the little boy's savagely beaten body was discovered outside the park area (Seifert 98).
On February 3rd, 2013, patient Carlos Ramirez was referred to my office by his 1st psychiatrist with symptoms of severe depression and preoccupations with health disorders. Patient has had adverse side effects with Prozac and Zoloft. Carlos has been seen by primary care physician and 2 mental health officials to discuss his feelings of impending death and depression. Upon arrival, Carlos and I spoke about his early life, what events triggered his current pattern of thinking, what in his personal life has changed recently, and what other treatment plans have been used to help cure Carlos’ feelings of depression. Carlos described symptoms of despair, poor concentration on topics, loss of interest in daily tasks and subjects that once brought interest, and tearfulness at thoughts of passing and what state this would leave his children and family in. He has been hospitalized for his depression and reported that a mixture of anti-depression and anti-anxiety drugs helped to lift symptoms temporarily. His reported symptoms are consistent of the previous diagnosis of depression. Depression is classified as the inability to do things once found enjoyable, fear to move forward in one’s life, loss of self, and debilitating feelings of sorrow. Carlos’ has many symptoms concurrent with those of depression. Carlos also has a history of medical and mental disorders in his father’s side of the family.
River I'm here to talk to your son about the recent murder I was told him and the victim have some history. Ok she replied with a confused expression and she called for her son, as her son was walking down the stairs he stopped immediately and then asked his mom who he was, he looked like he had just seen a ghost. The detective asked him if they could speak privately his mom was ok with it but the boy wasn't for it. But his mom made him, the detective began to speak with him he said what's your history with the victim? What victim? the boy replied confused, don't play dumb with me kid you know what happened between you and the victim, Billy Mays. The kid cracked, he said look I lost control of my temper he began to cry. Hey calm down we all make mistakes but this is not a slap on the wrist your going to trial for murder as a millennial. In the trial the River family didn't believe it was their son, and the defendant said we had no evidence to prove it was him and said the detective pressured him to confess. But the forensic test came out positive for a foot print match in the end he was charged to jury until he becomes of age to go to jail were then there will be a second trial to determine if he goes to prison or not with a minimum prison sentence of 25
