Everyone is looking for better and healthier life! People today pay more and more attention to the food they eat, they want it to be healthy and tasty, on the other side modern life is so dynamic and eventful, that the food must be fast. So you need to come up with something that will support all these needs. The great solution is Frozen Yogurt. It is a refreshing, savory dessert that combines the flavors and textures of ice cream and sherbet. Frozen yogurt is a new-comer in the dessert market. Nevertheless, “the history of frozen desserts dates back thousands of years to Asia where water ices were first made.’’ (wiki) Yogurt was brought to the U.S. in the early 1900s and steadily increased in popularity as a health food item over the next several decades. By the 1970s, with the popularity of ice cream technology was transferred to the production of frozen yogurt. But it’s entry into the dessert market was a distinct failure—consumers complained that it tasted too much like yogurt. Relaying on consumer demand for a sweet product that tasted like ice cream, TCBY opened its first store in 1981. The highest popularity comes to Fro-yo by the mid 1990s. But in the late 1990s as Americans turned their attention to high-protein, high-fat diets, demand for frozen yogurt slowed considerably. Low-fat foods such as frozen yogurt fell out of favor as food trends preferred higher fat and lower cost ice cream at the turn of the millennium. Trends changed back to frozen yogurt in the mid 2000s with the advent of live probiotic powder-based mixes. Over the last decade the production of frozen yogurt has grown multi-million dollar business with dozens of competing companies.

But if they were to keep the price at the current value of FF20.00/m, they would be able to sell not less than 75,000 units (or 11% of industry volume).

Quantitative plans are called budgets. Budgets are prepared to impose cost controls on the activities of an organization (Chenhall, 1986).Budgets are then used to evaluate the performance of the management and budget itself is considered as a standard to evaluate the performance Solomon, 1956). The purpose of the budget is also to implement the strategy of the organization and communicate it to the employees of the organization Rickards (2006). The change in the external environment has led to the change in the budgeting approaches from the initial cash based budgets to the zerio based budgets (Bovaird, 2007).
I have used this journal as a source to many of my researches before and I find them to be very reliable. Statistics stated in this particular article are well sourced, and I have not discovered any sourcing errors, as well as grammatical errors. This source is not objective, but it is not as biased as some of the other articles I have come across on the same topic. I do not believe that the article’s lack of objectivity takes away from its credibility. All of the claim are well documented, and the goal of this article is to bring light to the issue.

One of the most popular types of charts is the pie chart. The pie chart is used to visually represent the proportional value of individual parts to the whole. As the name describes, this is done by representing the numerical equivalence of each part as a piece of the whole pie, which in total equates to 100%. The Pennsylvania Department of Health (2001) says that pie charts are a good choice when a relatively small amount of parts, perhaps 3 to 7, need to be represented. With any more it becomes difficult to notice the differences in magnitude; thus, the pie chart loses its simplicity and impact. They can only be used when a total amount is known, one such example would be an election where the total of votes received by all candidates equals 100% of the votes. Or a budget where the total amount spending is divided in to categories such as labor, facilities costs, advertising, etc… which always are a part of the total. However, according to McBride (2003), the pie chart could not be used to show a change in spending through out a period. A pie chart shows data at one instance, like a snapshot and cannot be used to show change in data over time (para. 4). With the advent of computers, 3D graphs have become somewhat popular, unfortunately a negative aspect is that they add complexity to the image and can distort visual proportional value. It is recommended to stick with flat “2D” charts (para. 6).
