Bullying in American High Schools and Middle Schools
I- Introduce Paragraph:
1. Hook: A victim of bullying often has lifelong problems. In the novel Crooked Letter Crooked Letter, Larry was bullied, ostracized for years and people believed the worst of him.
2. Thesis statement: Bullying can happen to any child, anywhere and anytime.
II- Connection to the novel:
Bullying is common in High Schools and Middle Schools not only in United States but also around the world and Larry Ott was severely bullied in school and marginalized by the people in town.

- Have meeting with other parents and discuss about bullying.
- Teachers should have extracurricular education about bullying.
- Teacher should spend more time to the bullies and find the reason; find solution to help victims in bullying
- Parents should pay more attention to children and encourage them to tell.
- Parents should teach their children how to communicate with friends.
- Watch for signs of bullying and show their children how to cope with bullying
5- Social media and laws about bullying
- Report bad posts
- Forbid harsh words and sensitive images
- Give a penalty with the bullies in social media.
