Zanzibar is one of the most beautiful places anyone could experience. Zanzibar is an island off the coast of Tanzania. Zanzibar is known for their incredible salt, white beaches and it’s starling blue waters. This is why Zanzibar can be referred as the island of paradise. Along the coastline of Zanzibar you will find many fantastic resorts just steps away from the Indian Ocean. The resorts are very unique, unlike other islands, the resorts in Zanzibar are bungalows. Most of the bungalows are either semi attached or detached. Most of the resorts roofs are designed to look like they were made out of straw, which give the bungalows a nice effect. The main city of Zanzibar is called Stone Town. Stone Town has many old unique buildings that are

Although Costa Rica did not have the prettiest water, it was still great for paddle-boarding. After getting away from the shore, the water was much clearer. It was actually a beautiful dark blue. This made for the best deep sea fishing. Another amazing thing to do in Costa Rica is a jungle tour. Whether it be by walking or ziplining, seeing all the different types of animals and plants was truly amazing. Unfortunately, Bonaire did not have the exotic jungles, but it did have many other interesting things to do. Because it is surrounded by the most gorgeous water, Bonaire is a scuba diver’s paradise. It is also a great place to snorkel. Below the water’s surface is a whole other world of beautiful sea creatures. Under water is the best place to be in Bonaire. Disappointingly, the landscape of Bonaire is not as marvelous as Costa Rica. Of course, any view with the turquoise water is exquisite, but the island itself is just a enormous desert. Driving around the island was one of the only things to do. The eastern coast is lined with rocks, which causes giant waves. Another thing that you will see on your drive around the island is the salt farms. Bonaire creates its own sea salt. The areas where the salt is made looks like enormous pink lakes. Although Bonaire did not have the most beautiful landscape like Costa Rica, it did have an amazing ocean
Once named the friendliest city in the world, Puerto Vallarta in my eyes continues to carry that reputation. The people who live there are what make this place so special; it is my most desired place to travel to. Puerto Vallarta, Mexico sits along the coast of Banderas Bay in the Pacific Ocean. Along with having exotic scenery, they are known for having an exceptional variety of food. With the dark frigid winter creeping up on us, my head wanders to memories of missed friends and 90 degree temperatures.

Otzi the iceman was found 19th of november 1991 on a cold windy day in the alps
Over the years, many scientists and archeologists have traveled the world in search of more clues about our past. Among those found was the preserved mummy of a Neolithic man buried in ice. Otzi, a name the mummy earned from the Otztal Alps where he was unearthed, was dated to have lived over 5300 years ago. From the moment of discovery, the Iceman served as a subject of study that pushed back much of what we predicted the human timeline to be. This included the copper age, agriculture, as well as complex crafting of clothing and utilities. Until more recent studies were done it was assumed that Otzi had died at the hands of natural causes such as freezing in a storm. This, however, was proven wrong when further investigation shows that Otzi had died of a more aggressive cause of death. So why was Otzi killed on the high mountain tops of the Otztal Alps? My goal in this paper is to prove why the Iceman was murdered all those years ago.

The dispute over Western Sahara dates back to 1975 and is Africa’s longest-running territorial dispute. Western Sahara had been a Spanish colony since 1884. Although Spain surrendered the territory in 1975, Western Sahara failed to gain national independence. Instead, Mauritania and Morocco filled the void, and Mauritania ceded its claim to Morocco in 1976. The nationalists in the region responded by forming the Polisario in 1973. Supported by the Algerian government, which has a longstanding rivalry with Morocco, the Polisario waged a guerilla war against Moroccan occupiers and to this day, the conflict between the Polisario and Morocco has not been resolved. In April 1991, the United Nations established MINURSO, the United Nations Mission for a Referendum in Western Sahara. It’s brief was to implement a peace plan outlined in a 1990 Security Council resolution and broker a ceasefire. While the ceasefire held, the mission was never fully deployed and the negotiations have been at a standstill since 2004 after UN special envoy James Baker resigned. The Polisario believes that the status of Western Sahara should be determined by its people, but Morocco claims the territory as its own.
The Nile Valley of Africa is a great place that has given the world so much that we are not even aware of. Truly everything that has came out of the Nile Valley has been a gift because its contributions have done nothing but better today’s society. A lot of developments and creations started in the Nile Valley and they helped further the push of the world’s development and its people’s evolution to what we know today. The Nile Valley and its people’s influence can be found in plenty of areas because they were the first to create some of the early versions of some of the things we use and know today.
