Moving back to San Antonio from Colorado I too had to adapt many changes. While I went to school in Colorado, many of my friends grew up with me through elementary school. We had a great relationship, however moving back to San Antonio my new relationships with my fellow peers where very difficult to establish. One of my personal beliefs is to treat all people with respect, yet I see many people don’t believe in treating each other with respect. This is important to me because of all the struggles that Rosa Parks encountered on a daily basis. Even though Rosa Parks suffered tragic event after another, she was determine to finish her education in which she received her diploma in 1934. Rosa Parks fell in love with her significant other Raymond Parks and eventually go married on December 18, 1932. Her husband Raymond Parks was born February 12, 1903 in Wedowee Alabama. A loving and caring man, he was an un-educated man due to lack of money/resources. Mr. Parks and Mrs. Parks started a funding for colored people to be educated. On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks encountered a situation that would change the world today. This is the story that defined Rosa Parks in our history books for years to come. On December 1, 1955 was the day Rosa Park’s life changed forever. Rosa Parks went on with her normal daily activities by getting on the bus to go to work each and every day, however on this particular day she decided to sit in the fifth row in the color section, while the bus became full of additional riders, James Blake the driver demanded Mrs. Parks and three other African-Americans to move to the back of the bus.
