He was the first Hispanic baseball player to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame and the first to reach three thousand hits. His induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame was specifically special because an exception was made for him to be inducted into the Hall of Fame after his unexpected death. Usually baseball players cannot be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame for at least five years after they quit playing, but Clemente was inducted in 1973. With all that being said, Clemente also never forgot where he came
To be a outstanding professional soccer player, it is usually the case that you need to be tall, fast and very strong. The interesting thing about Landon is that he doesn’t really fall into the tall and strong categories. Standing pretty short at 5 feet 8 inches it is very hard for Landon to win ball in the air over tall center backs or muscle the ball off a player when you are almost four or five inches smaller then them, but Landon has shown us how to use your own positives to your advantage. With being very small, Landon is quite agile and can dribble the ball very quickly. Knowing this Landon has learned to use these skills to get around many player and score many goals and by doing this he has shown many smaller than average player that they are not at a disadvantage.

Growing up in El Salvador, soccer was a sport that significantly impacted my childhood. My cousins and uncles taught me how to play soccer, as well as various techniques that would later benefit me on the soccer field. At the age of seven I started to play for one of most well-known soccer clubs in El Salvador. Practicing twenty three hours a week was really paying off, as I could see in my medal and trophy gain. Not only did they represent my accomplishments, but they also gave joy to my teammates, community, and family because they were the people who encouraged me to give my best. Playing soccer was also a way to release stress because when my family was going through hardships, it was easier for me to let all of my negative energy on the
...rent principle. I love soccer. I’ve been playing it almost 20 years. Why not come to the U.S. to play, and help the game? New York is great for sports. I really feel if I came here I could give something to U.S. soccer,” Pelé said to the reporters, still not giving his final decision.
When Ronaldo was a young boy his mom wanted to abort him. Luckily this didn’t happen because he's the greatest soccer player of all time. He was not rich he was poor. He fought his way through all the way to the top. He had a heart disease that made his heart race which could have ended his soccer career. Ronaldo is a big inspiration to me and a lot of other people. He makes me try harder when i see him. He took his team to the world cup in 2014 he scored a hat trick and this is a big deal because the world cup happens every four years and only a handful of countries make it. When i watch Ronaldo play i feel like nothing else matters because it doesn’t. Ronaldo went through a bad knee injury in 2014 before the world cup started and you could tell it had an effect on him. His team was not going so hot they got kicked out of the world cups first knockout stage. In 2015 he overcame his injury and had a good year but the best was yet to come in 2016 and 2017 they won the

I got inspired by c.ronaldo due to his very unique talent ,his willing to reach glory ,aiming to be the best ,and his ability to overcome obstacles. Although, he suffered from hard life at the begining and exposured to injustice in some awards, , with his passion to the game ,hard word and believe he could reach what he is now applying to his sentence hard work is the key to success.
...s of today Messi is getting ready for the world cup that is going to be playing in South Africa this summer, and hopefully Messi and the Argentinean squad do better that the world cup that they play in Germany four years ago. They got disqualified in the quarter finals by the hosting nation Germany.
I remember one time when I was watching him play. He had just scored one of the coolest goals of his career. He spun the ball just out of reach of the goalkeeper's hands. With a smooth and controlled kick, the ball trickled into the net with a serene kind of spin. It seemed as if the whole thing had been in slow motion. As soon a the ball smacked up against the net, the entire net jolted back. The goalkeeper dove and grunted as he tried to reach the ball, but he just couldn’t. Lionel Messi’s shot was just too good. The whole crowd cheered so much. The best part, to me, is that after Messi scored his amazing goal, he didn't even celebrate. Messi just simply gave the ball to the referee and got prepared for kickoff. This showed me that even though he had scored an amazing goal, Lionel Messi did...
