Luke Skywalker
Luke Skywalker is a fictional character from original movie’s Star Wars made by George Lucas. The person that played Luke Skywalker was Mark Hamill. He is an important figure in the movie Rebel Alliance's. He the brother of Princess Leia Organa. Luke Skywalker first name was "Luke Starkiller". The fictional character went through many design changes. Luke was at first designed as a 60 year old grizzled war hero. The name "Starkiller" continued for a couple months of filming. Hamill on set used the name 'Luke Starkiller". The whole time he called himself while they was filming. "Starkiller" was dropped because Lucas called "unpleasant connotations".

He was eager to complete his training but the Grand Master give in to old age and became one with the Force after a 900-year lifespan. On his deathbed Yoda told Luke that he had to meet his father before he could be reflected as a true Jedi. But at the time he also learned of his familial connection with Organa. After returning to the Rebel team Luke was sent with a team to the forest moon of Endor in research for the Rebel navy's attack on the 2nd Death Star. On his way to the mission he gave himself up to be captured in order to face Vader. He was hoping that he would be able to redeem his father by returning him to the light side of the Force. As the Battle of Endor began between Imperial and Alliance forces, Vader's Sith Master, the Galactic Emperor Darth Sidious, tried to turn Luke into his next trainee by goading him to embrace the dark side. Although Luke had beaten Vader, he refused to kill him and reaffirmed his promise to the Jedi way. Which caused the Emperor to torture Luke by unleashing a torrent of Force lightning on him. Upset by the sight of his son in pain, Vader smashed the Emperor at the cost of his own life. Resulting in the extinction of the Sith and the fulfillment of Anakin Luke's destiny as the Chosen
