Chevrolet is a well known automobile brand that has been around for over 100 years. The diversity of the vehicles range from cars, SUVs, trucks, vans and the company also has added electric vehicles to their line of vehicles (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). Some of the company’s most popular cars are: Chevrolet Cruze, Malibu and Impala which are listed within an affordable price range, under $30,000 brand new (Everyday Innovation, 2016). The Chevrolet Cruze is one of the company’s newest sensations that quickly became a popular item that could stand beside well known items like Impala and Malibu.
In 2015, the Impala was named one of seven Chevrolet’s to be named the most popular by Edmunds.com. Among Impala, the infamous Corvette, Camaro, Traverse, Tahoe Colorado and Silverado 1500 were the remaining six vehicles (“Most Popular”, 2015). Chevrolet’s prominent SUV models are just as popular as the four door sedans. The Tahoe and Suburban gives the company a competitors worse nightmare as the both are models favored by many consumers. In 2015, the Tahoe was recognized as the Best Buy of the Year for full-size SUV’s according to the automobile site, Kelley Blue Book (“KBB, 2016).
