College is more of a life preparation course that will help make sure a successful career. If a person pursues a career in engineering, physics or mathematics their curriculum would include more liberal art preparation courses, in order for them to earn their degree, so someone pursuing a degree in these types of careers should attend college for job preparation.

My future career goal is to be either a homicide detective or a criminal profiler. Now, you are probably thinking that I don’t need a higher education that I just need to go into the police academy and work my way up the chain, you are wrong. In order to be a criminal profiler I need to get a four year degree in psychology, criminal justice, or forensics. It is also recommended to get a masters in forensic psychology, or criminology after spending 7-15 years as a detective, police officer, or investigator.

What type of personality do you have? What jobs might be a good fit for these characteristics? When you pick a few job matches, make sure to read about them. When you think you have found the right one for you, you need to make a plan and set goals on how you are going to succeed in this career choice. All this will determine whether or not you get the job you are applying for.
You had better know what you want to do when you get older and you better like it because that is what you will be doing for the rest of your life. However, most of the jobs today needs at least 2-4 years of schooling. I want to be a lawyer. A lawyer will almost always get paid a lot to represent someone or some business. All a lawyer has to do is argue for their client and make them sound good and help them out in legal cases. Also, the lawyer gets to tell their client how much they want to be paid. I think that a lawyering job would be good for me because I love to argue, persuade people, and help people.
