There are so many exotic and different types of foods in the world, especially Brazilian food. Brazilian foods are usually eaten in Brazil/South America. Brazilian foods are mainly eaten in Brazil. The traditional foods of Brazil have a fusion of many different cultures that have mixed together in dishes to create a very delightful and interesting meal. Brazilians eat a variety of many different exotic foods. Brazil's many delicious and divine dishes started when the Portuguese took over Brazil while bringing over their dishes. Brazilians are all about fruits, they eat large amounts of fruits that mainly come from the Amazon. Their range of foods consists of mangos, guava, cashew fruits, pineapple, passion fruit, orange, and plums. If you ever decide to visit Brazil, another common food you will taste and see people eating a lot there is meat. Their meat is top quality. It is not a fancy or extremely difficult dish to create as well. They prepare on the grill and add a dash of salt just to bring out the flavors in the dish. Along with their meats, they also eat a lot of rice and beans. Their national dish is “Feijoada”, it is a thick stew including black beans, rice, pork, grilled meats and also white rice. They mainly eat their meat during the daylight or more towards the evening. Brazilians have a deep affection for desserts as well no matter where it is from. A typical dessert dish found in Brazil is “Bolo de Rolo”. This plate is a thin sponge cake filled with pleasurable guava. Colombia is famous for many types of cuisine. In America, different states/areas are known for different types of food. For example, the coastline has great seafood and the south has awesome comfort food. Colombia is divided into 32 departments, or country subdivisions. As we all know, Brazilians like to party a lot. That’s why we have this holiday, and it’s very different around the world. First of all I will answer some of your questions, and the first one is: what is that famous holiday that all Brazilians talk about? The Brazilian Carnaval is the best holiday ever for us. Food is very important in people's culture. Everyone loves food, but not everyone enjoys eating the same food. For example, gumbo is an extremely common dish in Louisiana. People in Northern states might not know what gumbo is or they might cook it different. In Louisiana, we put seafood in our gumbo and some people even add sausage. We also like to make it spicy. Another food we love in the South is crawfish. We take a big pot, and add water with crawfish boil seasoning to make it spicy. Some people put corn and potatoes in there with the crawfish. Then, after it's done, you pour the crawfish on a table and everyone eats. Those are the two most known foods that people love in Louisiana.

Most people think of exotic foods when they think of foods from other countries, but that’s not necessarily true . Locals enjoy lots of foods eaten in the United States. Steak is very big in Bolivia, so there is a lot of steakhouses. Of course, Bolivians do have some signature foods and local fruits are super tasty. Fruits like apples, grapes, kiwi, pineapple, mangos, honeydew melon, watermelons, figs, grapefruit, and many more grow there. Bolivia does has some special fruits. One of these is the Acais berries, which has a remarkable reputation because of its many vitamins and minerals. The acharya berry has a festival in its honor in January. This berry is semi-acidic. Another interesting berry is everybodys’ favorite, since it makes chocolate!!!! The cacao is an ugly looking fruit that you probably would never buy if you saw it for sale and it is not normally eaten by itself. The last fruit I’ll tell you about is a kind of banana, a guineos. These bananas are not your everyday banana, it is much smaller than an average banana and is the best banana for banana bread.

With an abundance of natural resources and a large labor pool, Brazil became Latin America's leading economic power by the 1970’s. Brazil is located in Eastern South America, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. It is slightly smaller than the U.S., with bordering countries Argentina, Bolivia, Columbia, French Guyana, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
There is not an exact single “Brazilian food” but there is an assortment of various regional traditions and typical dishes. The diversity is linked to the origins of the people inhabiting each region. For instance, the culinary in Bahia (city in Brazil) is heavily influenced by mix of African, indigenous and Portuguese foods. Chili and palm oil are very common. But in the Northern states, due to the abundance of forest and freshwater rivers, fish and cassava are staple foods. In the deep south more traditional foods will be shared with their neighbors Argentina and Uruguay, with many meat based products, due to this region livestock. One of the principal food in Brazil is the “Churrasco”. For example, one of the most well-know Brazilian street foods is “ Acaraje “, wchich are fried balls of shrimp and onions. Fried rice balls are similar to hush puppies made with rice instead of corn meal. And be sure to try “Empadinhas de Palmito” which are small empanadas with a hearts of palm filling. Coxinha” are my favorites, that is chicken croquettes made to look like drumsticks. Another type of food in Brazil that I like to much is the desert that calls “Brigadeiro”. Feijoada , when you see what have there you might think that Is not good food but when you try you will love it. In feijoada has black beans with pieces of beef and pork added to it. Churrasco, in Brazil it simply refers to a barbeque, which is almost comprised of large chunks of meat cooked on skewers. If you go to Brazil, you need to go in a churrascaria, is a restaurant that has all types of meat.
If you visit Bolivia, you will get to experience and explore the cuisine they are known for. As an example, for breakfast, you may decide to go to a general breakfast house. There they will serve you a menu with tons of food to choose from. You will be very shocked with how different they are from us Americans just by their cuisine. But, it’s not something you will always be able to try.

Feijoada can be made in a countless number of varieties. However, in Brazil it nearly always has black beans and always includes a mixture of salted, smoked and fresh meats. Some types are a little spicy from the sausages while others are absolutely mild. Some people’s feijoadas are thick while others are more similar to a traditional stew. Regardless of the variation it is customary to serve this stew with white rice, black beans, and hearts of palm salad, hot peppers, and orange slices.
