American Sniper
One man is torn between staying at home with his family or going off to war. American Sniper, based on a true story, is one of the best drama/action movies from 2014, starring Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle and Sienna Miller as Taya Kyle. Growing up in Texas, Kyle is taught how to shoot a rifle and hunt deer by his father. Later on in his life, Kyle becomes a rodeo cowboy. He then qualifies for special training and becomes a U.S. Navy SEALs sniper after he sees news coverage of the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings. Shortly after getting married, he is sent to Iraq after the September 11 attacks in 2001 to fight against the terrorist group al-Zarqawi. While he is at war, he goes on to become the deadliest sniper in U.S. Military history. American Sniper has been nominated for and won countless awards which include: Being an Oscar nominee for Best Motion Picture of the Year, being an Oscar nominee for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, and winning an Oscar for Best Achievement in Sound Editing (Awards). Chris Kyle was good with a rifle because his father would take him deer hunting. Chris never would have thought of going into the military until he saw that terrorism is making the United States suffer. In order for Kyle to become a SEAL, he had to go through training that was not easy. To start off, Kyle had to be away from his wife, which was a hard thing to have to do. He then had to go through the training that a SEAL had to do. The training that Kyle goes through is brutal; however, he knew that he was going through it all for his country. After he officially becomes a SEAL, he is then stationed in Iraq. The many times that he is in Iraq, he has to apply everything that he learned from his training to the
