Religious and faithful acts can surely spark engagement and understanding in society when used the right way. We can find religious organizations and houses of worship in corrupt neighborhoods because they help to build a morale. These places give the gangsters, drug dealers, and other troubled characters a choice to turn themselves around and give back to their community in ways that they would have never imagined. Being apart of a religion that relies heavily on faith is a method of cleansing away all sins, burdens, and troubles. Those who can testify to the blessings that come from being holy motivate and almost effortlessly encourage others to follow in their footsteps. This vital outlook on life cultivates the strongest form of unity where people dedicate their time to good citizenship and community service. Religion and faith are the most efficient approaches used to achieve a community by bettering the individual which in turn betters the community.
Not every person can say that they feel safe or welcomed in their community. Modern day corrupt societies are mostly filled with prejudice and ignorant people, or down right criminals. You can find these communities in poverty stricken areas where the only way to make a living is to steal or hustle on the streets. Mislead, these people know nothing of the ways in which they can better themselves and need a stimulant that will help to uproot them from the ground that their environment has planted them in. Although there may be some amount of ethical people found in these communities, they never seem to have the ability use their morals as a change agent, and the bad outweighs the good in every situation. Religion and Faith can do more good for society than harm. They both serve as catalysts to the creation of an ideal community where every person’s morals and values center around peace, unity, and harmony. This behavior is essential in a society that lacks the understanding of what is right from what is wrong and is used to create a sense of discipline. Having complete trust and confidence in knowing that peaceful practices will yield favorable outcomes is essential in our everyday lives. Religion has advanced civilization, as it inspires others to do good for themselves so much so that it has positively affected the world around them.
