During that time, my urine output was very low on the second day. The doctor concluded that my kidney will failure soon. Therefore, they ask an assistant to assist my kidney situation.
On that morning, Dr. Jenny had come to visit me. I have told her, I feel less energy and uncomfortable at the caesarian area. She said do not be worried. All will be ok soon. She still smiles at me and she said I was a brave woman. The spirit still high because I am able to smile to her even on this condition. She asks me to sit on the chair instead lay down on the bed. According to her, this will help the blood circulation on the body and will ease the uncomfortable feeling. Moreover, as she said, in ideal condition, the doctors or nurses will advise the patient to sit and move around after a day of operation. It will help to speed up the recovery process.

The chair was placed just beside my bed however I take 30 minutes to move myself to the chair. When I tried to sit-up position from lay-down position, it was very painful. Like a something press on my caesarian scar. I had moved over the bed bit by bit. Then, Dr. Jenny asked me to rub my tummy to allow me to pass the wind because it will help to reduce the pain in the area. It works!. I am not feeling painful in that area anymore. I was asked to sit on the chair for 30 minutes and tried to move my legs for exercise. I had to this exercise for 3 days before I was allowed to go to meet my baby at
She checks me, and tracks my surges. My surges are not as frequent as earlier so she recommends for me to sit on the birthing ball. I sit up right on the birthing ball, and lean back on Poet for support and those surges are coming now. I tense up, and my midwife's assistant beautifully guides me through each surge, encouraging me to relax instead of tense up with each contraction. After a while of being on the birthing ball, I am guided to the bathroom, and I sit on the toilet for a few of the surges and finally I am ready to get in the tub and begin pushing. I felt like I was never going to meet our baby. I felt like our baby was

There was a hint of worry in my voice as I said “She is okay and has received some medical help.
Saint John’s One Day Surgery (ODS) offers patients a convenient and efficient same day surgical procedure that allows most patients to return home on the same day to recover. The objectives of this paper is to describe the physical environment of the ODS unit and explain the unit’s criteria so that the patient’s surgery may proceed as planned. It will also discuss some of the many roles of the ODS nurse and list one actual diagnosis and two potential nursing diagnoses, with associated supporting evidence, for a patient in the ODS on this particular day. This paper will conclude with my personal experience, both positive and negative, during
I feel okay when I have been laying around, but am still not liking keeping weight on it. If you asked what bothered me the most, it would definitely be while sitting. The physical therapist told me that you would be showing me some stretches and strengthening exercises that will help with numerous things. I would like to be able to continue my signature cartwheel/splits routine, go to the group workout at the gym, and not act like my grandma when I go home for the holidays in a couple of months! Oh and fix me fast, please; I have finals coming soon!

Sitting down was just about unbearable; wall to wall pregnant women, as far as the eye could see. "Was this what the doctor was going to tell me, that he made a mistake while doing my partial hysterectomy and now I was pregnant? No; that couldn't be it! It's been a year since I had surgery. So, what was so important that he couldn't tell over the phone? May be the endometriosis came back; yes, that was it, it had to be. Why wasn't my name being called?" It had been 20 minutes since I signed in. Waiting when uncertainty was on one side of the door and clear was on the other, waiting was the hardest thing to do.
The hospital room holds all the usual scenery: rooms lining featureless walls, carts full of foreign devices and competent looking nurses ready to help whatever the need be. The side rails of the bed smell of plastic. The room is enveloped with the smell of plastic. A large bed protrudes from the wall. It moves from one stage to the next, with the labor, so that when you come to the "bearing" down stage, the stirrups can be put in place. The side rails of the bed provide more comfort than the hand of your coach, during each contraction. The mattress of the bed is truly uncomfortable for a woman in so much pain. The eager faces of your friends and family staring at your half naked body seem to be acceptabl...
Today was my second day on labor and delivery. When Grace and I first arrived, we were sent to change. After Grace and I changed into our scrubs, we went to the front desk to receive our tasks. A registered nurse (RN) asked us if we would like to see a vaginal birth or a caesarean section (c-section). I choose to watch a c-section, and Grace decided to observe a vaginal birth. Once we decided on who would do what, we went our separate ways.

Over the years birthing methods have changed a great deal. When technology wasn’t so advanced there was only one method of giving birth, vaginally non-medicated. However, in today’s society there are now more than one method of giving birth. In fact, there are three methods: Non-medicated vaginal delivery, medicated vaginal delivery and cesarean delivery, also known as c-section. In the cesarean delivery there is not much to prepare for before the operation, except maybe the procedure of the operation. A few things that will be discussed are: the process of cesarean delivery, reasons for this birthing method and a few reasons for why this birthing method is used. Also a question that many women have is whether or not they can vaginally deliver after a cesarean delivery, as well as the risks and benefits if it. Delivering a child by a c-section also has a few advantages and disadvantages for both the mother and child; this will also be discussed in more depth a bit later.
Massage As Treatment for Round Ligament Pain During Pregnancy Many women find that as they progress through their pregnancy, they begin to experience what is known as round ligament discomfort during pregnancy. Round ligament discomfort during pregnancy is because of the weight of one’s expanding uterus on your already stretched ligaments, however it all begins with those pesky hormones that make all the other modifications in your physique! Hormonal changes inside your physique start to soften your ligaments, to permit for higher motion and stretching throughout childbirth as your pregnancy progresses. Nevertheless, those softer ligaments are also place beneath ever growing pressure as your baby’s weight grows.

Although childbirth appears to be a calm and unforgettable moment for mothers and family members, there can be severe complications that can affect not only the mother, but also the delivery and the child; on the contrary, the process may also run smoothly without any
