The goal of my speech is to inspire the listeners to use the skills being taught at TGI to communicate effectively within their workplace. I plan on highlighting the importance of knowing your audience and presenting your ideas in a manner to increase the probability of acceptance. Specifically, I will aim to present the listeners with relatable examples in which I was able to apply a tool I learned at TGI to communicate effectively, and ultimately gain the support of a team member.
After hearing my speech, I want the listeners to reflect on their current or past assignments at work and question whether they have delivered the best solution or if they let an outside factor influence them. I hope to empower the listeners to realize they are

I want to communicate to the audience that I was able to identify who would be the most difficult team member, and how I considered his reaction to my proposed changes. Due to this foresight, I was able to address his anticipated reaction by building out the modified project schedule. The point that resonated most with me is the need to address the problem at hand and present an appropriate solution.
I realized that my speech should flow back and forth between the discussions of effective vs. ineffective communication. This strategy will better illustrate to my audience how to successfully get their ideas across.
I kept this in mind when outlining the flow of my speech and determining in which section to tell my story. I wanted to ensure that my speech presents a topic the audience can relate to while also offering them an approach that will help them in the future. I feel I achieved this by choosing a story most engineers have experienced- proposing a design and/or solution that has been influenced by an outside factor. My story will explain how the skills I’ve gained at TGI have not only improved my ability to effectively communicate, but also given me awareness of outside factors that maybe influencing my decision-making

The first thing I needed to accomplish was finding a topic that would get my audience’s interest, while also providing them with an important piece of information with a positive impact; I thought skin care was an important topic that sometimes, people don’t give it the importance it deserves
Over the recent four months in Communication 1402 class, I have addressed three formal speechs and completed a number of chapters in the corresponding textbook “Communication Works”. This course of Communication aims to provide general information what public speaking is and how to address a public speaking. Recalling back the experience during the processes of completing the Speech to Imform, Speech to Persuade, and Group Presentation, I will draw a conclusion about this course and these three presentations in five aspects, comprising my previous perception of public speaking before this course; learning from the Speech to Inform; the goal and evaluation of Speech to Persuade; learning from the Group Presentation; the most important thing learned from this course.
Self- reflection is all about looking back into one’s own memories and having the chance to think about how one feel about it whereas interpersonal communication is a process used to communicate ones ideas, thoughts, and feelings to another person. It is an essential requirement for life. Behaviors and communications are qualities that inherent and learnt. The average worker spends two-thousand and eighty hours a year at their place of employment. Communication within the workplace is often overlooked or not given as much importance as most people should allow, given the amount of time that is spent there. Beyond the more basic verbal speech, one must be aware of the nonverbal symbols and noise that can have an effect on communication. There are also cultural, environmental and internal factors that can effect communication and how successful it can be. The various perceptions that an individual has developed over their life can also effect communication. One’s ability to communicate effectively will determine the success and enjoyment that is to come from their job.
Lots of people thinks that they know themselves very well; they have a right way of communication, they know how to listen and respond to others, even emotional intelligence. Is this what you thought? I did. However after I have done my observe behavior interview to my friends, I believe that self-reflection is important to everyone to understand and improve our own communication styles.
Communication is the key to partnership and humanity as a whole. As I work in a kindergarten through eigth grade school I come into contact with a lot pf people. I find communicating faily easy. As I had conversations with all personnel listed in the assignment I have realized that I enjoy talking with others.
Interpersonal communication is one of the significant skills while communicating with other individuals. It normally covers an extensive area and includes both verbal and non-verbal communication. Body language and facial expression may affect the accurateness of the message transmission directly. Interpersonal communication skills normally ensure that the message is sent and received correctly without any alteration thus improving the communication efficiency. Learning diverse aspects of interpersonal communication has greatly aided me in better understanding of what it consists. I am capable of applying the knowledge gained from this course to my personal experiences. This paper reflects on my personal experience in learning interpersonal communication.

Primarily and most obviously, I must consciously practice all of the skills and knowledge I have learned. Secondly, not being afraid to ask for, and accept, constructive feedback from others will be a huge contributor to recognizing and following up with needs for improvement in any communication areas. Finally, sharing what skills and knowledge I have gained in this class with others will help to improve and maintain my own communication skills by surrounding myself with an environment filled with people who are also competent communicators. Now the communication class is almost over I have realize how important is to have good communication skills, and how it is key to life. I have learned many things in this class for example ways to approach strangers. Another thing that I have learned how to handle conflict and how sometimes it could be good it not always bad and many others. The way I look things have change to have reach my goals. This class was has also taught me how to look in the “other” perceptive, and not being selfish by just seeing one side. All that I have learn will help me and other around me to be able to communicate better.
When this course began, I wasn’t cognizant of how my messages might be interpreted. Now, I 'm more deliberate and aware of how my communicational messages are created and sent. Becoming a competent communicator has required me to become aware of my interpersonal thoughts. My interpersonal thoughts effect my self-esteem which directly correlates to my ability to communicate effectively. I have been partially successful this quarter at Bellevue College due to my positive and encouraging interpersonal thoughts. Before this course I also didn’t seek out enough conversations with other people. Now I understand why communication is such an important part of my own personal development.
