“A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love of learning,” Brad Henry said. Students go to school in order for them to learn and then use that learning to create their own future. They can choose from every course they want to take, but the thing is, teachers are the ones who cultivate the seed in the hearts of every student. The teachers in PNTC Colleges Dasmariñas are caring, compassionate, and responsible enough to teach the students how to be a world-class seafarer in the future. The Teachers’ Day Celebration with the theme: “Gurong Filipino Kaakbay sa Progreso” started with the Techno Band; followed by the Invocation led by the beautiful and enchanting voices of the Choir; and, the Entrance of Colors by the Corps of Midshipmen. Teachers’ Day is the day that we express our heartfelt gratitude to those people who sacrifice their time and effort just to teach and guide students in the right direction. Teachers enable the students to reach the stars that they want to reach. They teach them how to run, to climb, to swim, and all, to get to the place of glory. They teach them how to be bold, to be brave, and to be free. They teach them how to see, to learn, and to live the truth. Teachers and students, sometimes it’s hard to understand both sides, but they make memories together that will last forever. Happy Teachers
