Introduction
Diversity is all the ways of people being different, including individual, group, and cultural differences (Bucher, 2015). From this perspective, we could see that every individual is unique. Although, we are different as a person that does not mean that we have to make a distance between us, rather than to embrace ourselves in understanding each other, help each other, and work together. In order to have more understanding about diversity, we need to study and experience the differences such as cultures, ethnic groups, races, and other unique backgrounds. Here, at Murray State University (MSU), I am able to meet many people from different countries with diverse backgrounds and this situation helps me to learn more about diversity. …show more content…

He born in Hyderabad which is the capital of the southern Indian state of Telangana. and also considered as one of the most crowded city in India. After finishing his MBA in Marketing, he worked for two years in one of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company called Hindustan Unilever in India. It is a multinational company which produce the products that easy to sell and affordable such as shampoo, drinks, snacks.and many other consumables goods. There were many of them, but he mentioned only some of the major festivals which involved the diverse community. The first one is Diwali, which means "light" that guide Indians throughout the country. The light considered as hope, victory, and happiness. The festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil, and lamps are lit as a sign of celebration and hope for mankind. It usually celebrated within their family in November. It also strengthens the ties of kinship between family and friends. The next one is Dussehra. This event held annually in approximately one month (in Hindu calendar) before Diwali or in October. Similar with Diwali, Dussehra celebrates Rama 's victory over Ravana and represent the winning of good over evil. Another one is Pongal. This is a festival of the Hindus as a sign of gratitude after their harvest. Although many people work in the city and do not work as a farmer, they can still involve in this celebration. This festival is usually held in the middle of January every year. The next one is Ugadi, is considered as one of the biggest celebration in India because it was the New Year 's celebration in the Hindu calendar.
