There are often numerous themes in works of literature, the theme of rebirth and resurrection is considered the most important theme in this classic work. In Charles Dickens’ a Tale of Two Cities the theme of resurrection is used to instil the belief that in resurrection characters go through a personal transformation. Resurrection is greatly showcased with the phrase “Recalled to life”, which shows up throughout the first book.
