Imagine that you are a passenger on the Titanic and its night time your looking at the beautiful dark starry night Boom! Boom! Was that a crash? The Titanic was built by the White Star Line Company. This huge ship weight 53,310 tons it was launched on May 31, 1911. The titanic was built to be an unsinkable ship but on April 15, 1912 going into the Atlantic Ocean it hit an iceberg which made the ship sink and ended up at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. The Titanic sank even though people thought it was believed to be unsinkable because of the weather, people made errors, and there was building errors.
The first way that the Titanic sank was due to the bad weather. The Titanic had very cold weather which made the boat sink. Article 2 states that, …show more content…

An example that building the ship was wrong is that the materials were cheap. The article informs that, “Scientists went back and looked into the materials used to build the boat and found that even though the sides of the boat were constructed with high-quality, durable steel, the iron-rivets that held these pieces together were cheap, and low-grade”(A2). This proves that the materials were very cold and once it hit the iceberg it ripped the low-grade and water got on the boat which made the ship sank. Another example of a building error was that they had a shortage of supplies on the boat. Article 2 says that, “The titanic was not equipped with enough lifeboats to save all of its passengers in case of an emergency leaving many standard when the ship went down”. This proves that the titanic didn’t have enough lifeboats for everybody to get onto but if they did they could have saved a lot of lives. To sum up people who build the titanic had major mistakes when making the titanic.
