As time passes you begin to see how things from the past change how people act and how events are the main reason we are the way we are. We are defined by our past and sometimes we repeat the same mistakes that we promised we’d stop. In today’s society, people are less tolerant towards each other. The reasons for this are similar to the reasons of the Holocaust that impacted millions of lives and crumbled children’s futures.
Being racist is one of the reasons why people are less tolerant towards each other, they can’t stand people of other races and with different beliefs and different colored skin. Racism is sadly a popular thing in this society, people hate on each other for the color of their skin, their beliefs, traditions and their culture.
The Holocaust was caused by Jews feeling inferior to Germans who they believed were a threat to the German racial community and that they were racially superior. Hitler didn’t like the Jews and thought there was an ideal type. He was racist, and because of his racism towards Jews, he treated them like slaves and killed millions of them. When people got their rights and stand up for them and themselves, they realized they had a voice to choose their own way. People began to riot and plan to use their voice and fight for what they believe in. Hitler got the chance to take action on what he believed in, he took the chance and caused chaos, but not knowing what he was doing and the pain he was causing, or maybe he did. Another reason why people are less tolerant towards each other is influence. Influence from other people, yourself and other things. When people are influenced by something they tend to change their personality and the way they do things. The holocaust had a deep effect on people that were there. They lost family members and went through hard times that had an influence on the way they thought. It also had an influence on their character and behavior. It's similar now because people are influenced politically and socially by the news and what's going on the in the world, the internet also tends to influence people, media also has a big influence on people’s lives and many other things like debates and campaigns. Overall I state that people have become less tolerant towards each other and there are many possibilities and reasons why and the holocaust was influenced by some similar things that influence us, now.
The Holocaust was an terrible event that happened from 1933 to 1945. Approximately eleven million people were killed by the Nazis. A genocidal policy was passed by Adolf Hitler after he became the leader of Germany in 1933. His goal was to get rid of all the Jews in Europe and those who are considered in his "undesirable" list. As countries such as Italy, Japan, and Austria units with Germany and became the Axis Powers, they started invading and taking over other countries around them in Europe. I believe there are reasons that can explain why we still study about the Holocaust today.
What possible reason can someone have for supporting or participating in the genocide and murder of millions of innocent people? During the period of the holocaust, the German peoples participation or indifference’s towards state sponsored genocide and murder could have been an effect of racism, national pride, and peer pressure.
Causes & Effects of the Holocaust There are times in history when desperate people, plagued by desperate situations, blindly give evil men power. These men, once given power, have only their own evil agendas to carry out. The Holocaust was the result of one such man's agenda. In short, simplicity, sheer terror, brutality, inhumanity, injustice, irresponsibility, immorality, stupidity, hatred, and pure evil are but a few words to describe the Holocaust. A holocaust is defined as a disaster that results in the tremendous loss of human life.
Racism is a form of extreme prejudice that leads to physical and psychological violence. Racists can be any color: white, black, brown, red or yellow. A white racist thinks all blacks are alike, while a black racist thinks all Hispanics are alike. In addition, a Hispanic racist may think all Native Americans are alike. The ethnic boundaries of racism "pigeon hole" anoth...
In looking at the idea of being racist we must look at why people are like that. I would hope that most people would not be racist, but that would be in a perfect world and we don’t live there.
The Holocaust, the mass killing of the Jewish people in Europe, is the largest genocide in history to this date. Over the course of the Holocaust nearly six million Jewish people were killed by the Nazi Party and Germany led by Adolf Hitler. There are multiple contributing factors to the Holocaust that made it so large in scope. Historians argue which of these factors were most significant. The most significant contributing factor is the source of the Holocaust, the reason it occurred. This source is Adolf Hitler and his hatred for Jewish people. In comparison to the choices of the Allies to not accept Jewish refugees and to not take direct military action to end the Holocaust, the most significant contributing factor of the Holocaust is that Adolf Hitler was able to easily rise to power with the support of the German people and rule Germany.
As Americans people really need to think what does Racism actually mean? Racism is the belief that human beings can be divided into human races and that some members of some races are inferior to members of other races. People who believe in racism are racist.(“Human Races”). People often hear someone say a slur that may have a little bit to do with racism but not really at the same time and they go bananas. Next thing people know there’s a court date and the member of the other race is a millionaire because he sued for a slur like my feet are black from all this work or my feet are red from all this heat. A lot of people for some reason love to just find a reason to be unhappy. For most its picking a fight with someone for a stupid reason.
As human beings, each person might consider himself as unique because we have certain common yet very distinctive structures in our anatomy. The human physiology and basic anatomy are unchanging for all people. However, there are differences in color of the skin, appearance, adaptability, physical viability and many other factors. From generation to generation there is a transformation that shapes and changes all of our traits, and some of the characteristics are greatly influenced by variations in geography and also the environment. Humans have so many similarities, but not all individuals have respect and solidarity towards others. The idea behind this is the feeling that one is better than someone else solidly based on race, and this is what creates and enhances the idea of racism. The reason for choosing racism is to better understand the development of racism and the existing theories that have explained this issue. It is true that racism continues to persist in our current world even after so much research has been done and laws set to guard individuals from racism in all day-to-day sectors of life. With the introduction of modern technology and social media, people started to communicate more with each other and possibly understand other people's perspective. There are several theories that analyze racism.
Causes of the Holocaust The Holocaust took place for a number of reasons, some of which were long term and short term. The main reasons are for centuries. Germany was an anti-Semitic country Jews were used as scapegoats. for the German problems. Also centuries of Nazi persecution caused the Holocaust in particular.
Dating back to the beginning of times people have always been looked at different depending on the color of their skin or what your religion, race, or beliefs may be. It is in our human nature to not like people for certain things that they are. Many will argue that in this day in age we are no longer at a race war but how can you be so sure when you actually open your eyes and see reality. Rapper Kanye West once said “racism is still alive, they just be concealing it” and these words are everything but false. You must ask yourself the real question about racism and it is how could you ever cure such a thing in people’s minds? People are free to think and believe what ever they would like and old habits such as racism will never change in people.
Let’s start with the definition of racism. Racism refers to the belief that race is the primary determinant of human capacities, that a certain race is inherently superior or inferior to others, and/or that individuals should be treated differently based on their ascribed race.
It is estimated that approximately eleven-million people were murdered during the holocaust. Of these eleven-million people around six million of them were Jewish. Jewish people were not the only ones Adolf Hitler was targeting; Hitler persecuted Jehovah 's Witnesses, Gypsies, homosexuals, and the mentally challenged. Hitler wanted to achieve absolute ethnic and racial purity in the country, so if you were anything other than what he considered to be perfect(blonde hair and blue eyed) you were not accepted by him and faced the chance of being killed. Adolf Hitler was the leader of the Nazi Party and of Germany, from 1921-1945. He also was a soldier in World War One and joined the German Workers Party. Mass shootings were

This belief can have an enormous effect over the way that one group of people treats another. In retrospect all racism entails is the idea that because of someone's skin colour or religion they are an in-superior race of the. Racism is a blatant form of prejudice. People who are prejudice are people who have strong feelings against certain types of people before they have even met them. Prejudice means 'pre-judgement' and society.
Racism is a huge social problem in the world today. Many races today are being discriminated for being a certain race. Racism has been a social problem for a quite long time now, and it is still a social problem. The vast majority are being discriminated because of a certain group of a race, or person, done something that was awful, but this does not mean the whole race is to blame for the actions of others. Other races are looked down upon because of the color of their skin or maybe because they look very different. Racism has led up to genocide because one group fears another, or because of the way a race looks. A person who is racist is not born racist, they are taught to be racist or they see other people being racist, and they want to
