The living room was stuffed with built-in bookshelves, original to the house. It was full of dark wood, and cozy chairs, with big old glass windows.
“I told you a human housemate was a bad idea,” Lucy said. “You could have found a nice witch, or hell, even a demon.”
“You know very well why that wouldn’t be a good idea,” Morgan said. She murmured a spell, pulled on a book, and one of the shelves moved. Morgan quickly slipped in, and set her books down on a desk in the small study behind the bookcase, before slipping back out again, and closing the shelf. “Now shush, she can’t hear you talk.”
Lucy glared at her witch, but went over to her dog bed to pretend to be a “good dog” or some such nonsense.
By the time Susi walked through the door, Morgan was pretending to read a textbook on comparative religion. Lucy jumped off her bed, and trotted over to get ear scritches. Morgan snorted as Lucy started thumping her back leg.

Lucy rolled over onto her back to get belly rubs. After a few minutes, Susi stood up, and sniffed the air. “What is that delightful smell?” She asked.
“Ratatouille,” Morgan replied. “You’re home just in time.”
They walked en masse to the kitchen, where Mrs. Iris had set the table, and put out a salad, fresh bread, and the ratatouille. There was a bottle of wine that Iris had decanted earlier. Iris stood across from the table, where she could see their faces as they ate. Without noticing anything, Susi walked right through her on the way to sit down.
“I don’t know how you have time to do all this,” Susi said.
Morgan shrugged. “I have
Inside the house there were “piles of Tupperware and glass dishes” (19). Outside there was a shed, garden, trees, and a river. There was an office. There were “brass numbers” hanging “on the front porch” (19).
The house is described as being a fairly large suburban house. The furniture in the rooms is described as being, "good solid furniture of the period. The general effect is substantial and heavily comfortable, but not cosy and homelike." As you will see later Mr. Birling always wants to make the impression that he is better than his guest, or at least is his guest's social equal. The furniture in the house may be another one of Birling's attempt to make the guest feel this way.
And with good reason! The sheer luxury of the property is overwhelming. The mansion has 34 beautifully decorated rooms that boast 15th through 19th century art and furnishings. While blending together harmoniously, there is nothing subtle about the elaborately carved furniture, voluminous drapes, ornate carvings, and the richly colored tiles. The intent is to convey the excesses of wealth, which it does, albeit with grace and elegance.
Whereas, Mrs. Lyons house is colourful and bright. There is a bookshelf which shows that they are privileged enough to have books and that this family is refined and educated. There is a carpet that is rolled out every time that the Lyons house is on stage. This shows comfort, softness and warmth as does the fireplace in the Lyons house. This is a contrast between the Johnstons house where they have broken windows which shows coolness and discomfort.
She gave a quick hug. And then went to liberate Lindy of his choker, that she had lent her.
I turned over to face the wall so that they hopefully got the message. “George stop bein’ such a baby and grow up already!” Curley’s way of cheering someone up is questionable at times. I stayed quiet for a while. “George, man, we all know Lennie deserved to die!”
And if you just want to enjoy the nature view without dipping your toes in the water, rocking chairs and/or a porch swing make for a quaint and relaxed afternoon. The living room is yet another excellent option to spend a couple of hours, thanks to its big fireplace and a flat screen TV.
Also, the inside of the house felt cooler inside than outside once walking a few steps inside. When walking to the left along the hallway is a living room with a window to look out at the front yard, a multi-purpose pool table set and a couple of couches. I kept walking down the hallway until I reached the dining room; the long wooden table was empty except for the same oak chairs surrounding the table as if they were worshipping the table. The seven candle holder against the right side of the wall isn 't lit because the dining room had enough light from the sun shining through the sliding glass door that is past the main living room. From here I could hear my turtle tank and my fish tank filters splashing the water like kids in a

Similarly, the furniture in the house is as sullen as the house itself. What little furniture is in the house is beaten-up; this is a symbol of the dark setting. The oak bed is the most important p...
"I've done nothing to you" Rebecca said calmly. "This woman is a witch!" he roared. She stabbed me in the foot with her "magic!" Arrest her!"
My mother always told me to stay away from men. Especially men that I don’t know! I can’t believe the problems John gets me into sometimes..

Remy spends his time in the house of an old lady watching cooking programs, tasting food, and reading cooking books and mixing spices. One day when Remy and Emil were collecting food, Emil found a bag full of cheese and Remy had the crazy idea of baking it with a mushroom in the roof with the smoke of the chimney. Then a lightning fell in the roof and electrocuted Remy, Emil and the mushroom with cheese. Then remy tasted it and made emil go to the kitchen with him to get a little bit of azafran. Then the old lady got up and saw them so she got the gun but she runed out of bullets so she had to look for some. Then the went through a duct by the light bulb and the roof fell. All of the rats of Remy’s population were there. Then the old lady started looking for the venom while all of the rats where running out of the house except for remy who was looking for the cooking book of gusteaou. Then when he got it he was running with it to the drains to go with his family in their boats but he lost them and got to some other drains alone and hungry. Then he imagined that gusteaou was talking to him and telling him to go up and look for food and things.
