Rap Vs Rock which is worse?

Honestly I don't believe rock is all that bad. I have a lot of reasons rock is not as bad as it seems. What people fail to realize is that rock actually helps some people. With me for example I’m a “emo”, “goth”, “punk”, “scene”, “grudge” kind of person and rock helps me with my Depression/ Anxiety. Not all rock music sends a bad message. Now rap sends off a bad message.
It depends which bands/ artist you listen to. For example when you're depressed Sleeping With Sirens is better than Falling in Reverse in my opinion. You fail to realize that there is a suicide every forty seconds. I’m not saying rock music prevents all suicides but it could help them through their depression, like it has me and countless others. Rap on the other hand is a bad influence and has destroyed today's youth. I get that everyone's different and some people don’t

like rock and that's perfectly fine whatever helps you helps you. If you listen to the lyrics it's actually quite sincerre just loud and appeals to your mood.
Some great bands are as followed: AA, FOB, FIR, PTV, TDG, SC, SD, SWS, Nickelback, Misfits, Slipknot, SP, ETF, ACDC, Nirvana, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, AeroSmith, Guns N’ Roses, The Beatles, Green Day, Black Sabbath, Three Doors Down, The Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Cage The Elephant, BVB and I could go one for hours naming great bands. Those are just twenty-eight that come to mind first. Some Artist are as followed:

Rock VS Rap:
Rock: can be loud, quiet, upbeat, sad, depressing, fun, different.
Punk Rock: Another rock music style from the 1970s was punk rock.

Punk rock was crude, loud, simple music. Many punk rock songs were rude or used bad words. Punk rock musicians often dressed in ripped or torn clothes, leather jackets, and black leather boots. Punk rock musicians sometimes had strange hairstyles, such as hair "spiked" with hair gel or shaved off. Well-known punk rock bands from Britain included The Clash. Alternative: Another rock music trend from the 1980s was alternative music. Bands such as R.E.M., Sonic Youth, The Smiths, Pixies, Hüsker Dü, The Cure, and others were popular with teens and young adults. The most immediate type of alternative music was "grunge," a combination of punk, rock and metal. Rap: In the mid 1980's, the music industry was shaken up with the birth of gangster rap. Artists such as Schoolly D and N.W.A. This new music genre portrayed images of gangs, guns, violence, and sexism, yet it was well received and became very popular in the span of just a few years. By the early 1990's, gangster rap had a home at the top of the charts. Some of the artists responsible for this were Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, both former members of N.W.A., Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tupac Shakur, and Ice-T. While each of these rappers showcased a unique style, the underlying messages in their work depicted acts of violence, discrimination, and sex in a way that made them appear commonplace and acceptable, when in fact they are not. The nature of gangster rap influenced society in a negative fashion, yet there was nothing that could legally be done to stop this. Personally if i had a child i wouldn't like them listening to Rap, because it has a really negative message. Rock on the other hand is encouraging, and helps a lot of depressive and anxious people. ~ Argument
