Rap Vs Rock which is worse? By~ Dazoray Pettigrew Honestly I don't believe rock is all that bad. I have a lot of reasons rock is not as bad as it seems. What people fail to realize is that rock actually helps some people. With me for example I’m a “emo”, “goth”, “punk”, “scene”, “grudge” kind of person and rock helps me with my Depression/ Anxiety. Not all rock music sends a bad message. Now rap sends off a bad message. It depends which bands/ artist you listen to. For example when you're depressed Sleeping With Sirens is better than Falling in Reverse in my opinion. You fail to realize that there is a suicide every forty seconds. I’m not saying rock music prevents all suicides but it could help them through their depression, like it has me and countless others. Punk rock was crude, loud, simple music. Many punk rock songs were rude or used bad words. Punk rock musicians often dressed in ripped or torn clothes, leather jackets, and black leather boots. Punk rock musicians sometimes had strange hairstyles, such as hair "spiked" with hair gel or shaved off. Well-known punk rock bands from Britain included The Clash.
