Randy finally had a new girlfriend, Selina. After a year of being single, he fell in love with Selina last summer. At that time, he was addicted to texting with Selina and he like went anywhere with her. Even though he knew it was against the law, Randy decided to text while driving, which caused him to lose both money and love. It all began when Randy drove his Honda Civic to school one day last fall semester. He got a message from Selina; he was curious about it because he had some arguments with her the day before, so he looked at it while he was driving. Then, he typed a response very fast when he stopped at the red light. He claimed it was easy to text while he drove. However, the text caused Randy to have an accident at New York Avenue.
He decreased the following distance and he also drove outside of his lane when it turned to green light. After the accident happened, Randy was frightened; he put his hands on the wheel and stayed in his seat until the police came and checked his license and insurance. Luckily, no one was injured in this accident. However. Randy needed to pay a higher insurance. Even though the insurance company would pay to repair the cars. Randy still needed to pay $800. Finally, Randy broke up with Selina since Selina was very angry with Randy this behavior. Texting while driving is a super dangerous action which can cause injuries and deaths. Also, it can cause car owner and stranger lose families, lovers, friends, car, money and any other things. Something can be compensated, but some cannot. Therefore, do not think that texting and driving is easy to handle. Drive safely and carefully.

Texting while driving is national growing trend, and it is quickly becoming one of the country’s top killers. Most drivers think they can manage to text and drive and still stay safe on the roads; however, the numbers do not lie! According to the National Safety Council, 1,600,000 accidents per year are caused by someone who was texting and driving. Laws and penalties for this act are too lax, and tougher laws should be enforced.
The issue of physician assisted suicide has been around for quite a while. There has been many court cases on it to make it legalized but all of it has been struck down by the Supreme Court. What seem to be a lost cause in the past is now becoming a real possibility as America moves further into the twenty-first century. As citizens increase their support for PAS, many states are beginning to draft bills to legalize this cause, with tough restriction and regulation of course. In 1997, Oregon became the first state to legalized physician assisted suicide for the terminally ill. Soon after, three other states (Washington, Vermont, and Montana) follow Oregon’s footstep while two other states are inching closer to making this procedure legal. Even so, there are still many people against PAS and are constantly fighting this from becoming legal. With the rise of popularity on this issue, the debate on whether one has the right to end their life, and the morality of this issue are reason why the UTA community should care about this topic and why it is worth exploring the three position concerning PAS. In this paper, I will discuss the three main position on this debate: that physician assisted suicide should be illegal, that physician assisted suicide should be limited to terminally ill patient, and that physician assisted suicide should be available for everyone.
Repose is the company Sam, Meredith and Dash run to help people by creating a projection of their deceased one they can only do this by coming into their salon. Eduardo Antigua is Repose first customer. He lost his brother Miguel when his brother was coming home on a late Saturday night. A drunk driver took Miguel's life when the drunk driver was changing lanes crashing right into Miguel. Miguel's final words to his brother Eduardo were that he loved Eduardo, Marion, and Diego but Eduardo couldn't understand Miguel's words about his mom. Eduardo comes out to tell the Simulation that he is dead the simulation thinks its a joke trying to calm down Eduardo by moving his body to prove he is still alive and well. But Eduardo was even more sad than before when he came in then the simulation said that he had to go to work. Eduardo unintentionally brings up an underlying flaw in Sam’s simulation. He did not expect that people may tell the simulation that they are dead which will cause problems since the simulation have the capability to adapt.
Most of the drivers are likely to mix up driving and messaging from their cell phones while driving regardless of the laws standing on the issues, and danger posed to them. A majority of those drivers engaging in this act do not contemplate the possible detrimental effects from their actions. Research has indicated that texting while driving contributes to road accidents significantly. This situation is sufficiently bad to the extent that there are more accidents caused by messaging while driving than those caused by drunken driving (Fumento n.p.). This experience has helped me learn about engaging multiple people at one time. The group was set up to contain only men in order to help keep the distractions to a minimum. Assisted suicide is slowly becoming more prominent in the world with the discussion of the benefits of the practice, the need for the law due to the possible detrimental aspects of it, and the obligation to remain true to the morals one has set for themselves.
Currently, physician-assisted suicide or death is illegal in all states except Oregon, Vermont, Montana and Washington. Present law in other states express that suicide is not a crime, but assisting in suicide is. Supporters of legislation legalizing assisted suicide claim that the moral right to life should encompass the right to voluntary death. Opponents of assisted suicide claim that society has a moral and civic duty to preserve the lives of innocent persons. There is a slippery slope involving the legalizing assisted suicide. Concern that assisted suicide allowed on the basis of mercy or compassion, can and will lead to the urging of the death for morally unjustifiable reasons is understandable. However, legalization can serve to prevent the already existent practice of underground physician-assisted suicide if strict laws to ensure that the interests of the patients are primary are installed and enforced. When a patient asks for assistance in dying, their wishes should be respected as long as the patient is free from coercion and competent enough to give informed consent. The intent of this work is to examine the legalization of assisted suicide in Oregon and the Netherlands and to argue that assisted suicide is morally and ethically acceptable in theory despite some unintended consequences of its implementation.
Diane: A Case of Physician Assisted Suicide. Diane was a patient of Dr. Timothy Quill, who was diagnosed with acute myelomonocytic leukemia.
