She has worked so hard to provide for our family and for me and my brother to have a good life, and the lives that she saves at her work every day. My mother is an oncology nurse so every day she goes to work and she gives the medicine and also helps people that have cancer. I appreciate what she does and has inspired me to study medicine what I am older to help people that why she does. What is a hero? I believe that a hero is someone who puts other people before themselves and is a leader. I feel that my mother is this hero for me.

For example what I was really struggling with reading in forth grade she got me help by making do eye exercises at Pacific University. It was very difficult for me and my family because we had to do the eye exercises three times a day with at least one other person to help me do them properly. And my mom was the one that would take me to all of my appointments every time they had to do more tests on me. Another thing that she would help me with was my sports, every time I have a softball game out in Tillamook or some place far away she is happy to take me to my games after a long day of work. Every day I was with her she would take me to my practices and
A hero is someone who invests their time helping others rather than themselves. They are always conscious of their surroundings and environment. Heroes help their enemies and friends regardless of the circumstances. A hero is also someone who is humble and knows when to be protective of others and themselves. Heroes are people who acknowledge flaws, and fix mistakes, those were my own definition of a hero. In “Undocumented Immigrant”, Jose Antonio Vargas tells the truth about his illegal status in the United States. Not only was he an immigrant in the United States, he was his own hero. Vargas proved that he is a hero through code switching, bravery and honesty.
When recalling one’s most idolized childhood heroes, figures like Batman, Michael Jordan, and Daniel from The Karate Kid usually arise. These individuals do fit the vague definition of a hero, being person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. But not all heros can fit into the “cookie-cutter” definition. Hardly does one recognize the more unsung heroes that really make a difference in the background like Georgie Smith, The Avenger’s Black Widow, and Lucie Manette. Although Lucie does not fit the stereotypical image of a hero, she is the driving force behind the heroic actions executed by others, making her the real hero.
A hero is a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal. John Barth, an American novelist, once wrote, “Everyone is necessarily the hero of its own life story” (FamousQuotes.com). Julia Child was her own hero, she is now a legacy in the culinary industry, she not only inspired America to begin cooking French food, but she also became a role model to housewives and working women alike.
Some definitions of heroes are people, who have noble qualities, and put the lives of others before their own life. They are expected to be reasonable and calm, during scary times, like when a shooting is going on, looking out for
I think a hero is someone that can risk their lives, they don't have to even risk their lives they can also do things for other people. My hero is Martin Luther King Jr because he helped end segregation because it was a horrible thing.
I am very grateful that she helped me how to ride a bike. My first bike was a blue Schwin. I loved that bike from the time it had training wheels to the time I got a new one. We started with the bike in the bike yard and mom would run either beside or behind me holding on and helping me keep my balance. When she let go I would fall and gets all kind of bruises then she would be mad that she let and I got hurt because of it. I eventually got better and we moved out to the street in front of the house, I loved how it felt to ride the bike on the pavement.
The word hero can have multiple interpretations depending on whom is asked: an inspirational teacher, a powerful leader, or a long dead philosopher. By definition, a hero is someone, through their achievements, is seen as a role model or someone who would be looked up to and admired. Although, heroes are anything but by the book, so extraordinary, that using a written definition only boxes in these incredible people. A few traits that many heroes possess are generosity, being adventurous and passion.
So what exactly is a hero? Parents are true heroes. Most parental units sacrifice time, money, love and everything else for their children. When times are tough good parents do all they can to make things better for their children. Mothers and fathers often work two jobs, late at night, or on weekends to provide for their kids. My mom is always there for me when I am sick, telling me she wishes she were the sick one. She also reassures me that she always has an extra kidney if I happen to need one. I personally view my parents as true heroes for all they do, have done, and will do.
My definition of a hero is my mom Stephanie Brown. She’s fearless, kind, and caring. She would do anything to Protect us she’s really nice to us and other people and cares about us and her family. She like to help other people that are poor and she helps her mom with rent. She likes to stay active with us sometimes me my mom my grandma and my brother would go to the beach but now that it’s to cold were in the house playing board games.
What is a hero? I believe a hero is someone who always tries their best, never gives up and has great achievements. A hero is someone who has incredible strength and always has something to say or bring to the table. Not everyone is a hero, but everyone can be a hero. Everyday there are people all over the world that help out other people even if they’re not famous. Think about the police officers that are out saving lives and putting away the harmful people that hurt innocent people, and the firefighters putting out fires and rescuing the people, or even a bus driver who drives the kids to school if your parents’ have a business meeting they can’t be late for, that is a hero in your parents eyes.
Who is a hero? A hero has a different definition depending on who you ask. The definition always carries an opinion on who said it. To me a hero is a quick-witted leader who does not ever take the easy way out of something hard and they always function like normal people because that’s what they are. They might not be noticeable, but they will always make the greater good the priority.
Even though I can be stubborn, and I don’t always listen she puts up with me all the time and I thank her for that because without my mom I would forget to do a lot of things, like if I have everything in the morning before I go to school. Also, you have three kinds you are all the same age, who all share a room, and just though all of our clothes on the ground, you take the time to clean out our room and do the laundry, so we have clothes to wear, and a clean room so we can find things. You also make it possible for all of us to get ready in the morning considering that we only have one bathroom to get ready in the morning.
I remember she used to tell me and brother that everything was going to be okay, how money doesn't affect happiness, and to be humble because more than half the world suffered greater than our situation. After my mother became an independent woman, she developed into my role model. Not once my brother and I saw her cry or complain about our situation, she always contained a positive outlook and never spoke bad about my dad. In fact she would state that he was under bad influences and that he will realize his mistake sooner or later. Eventually my father did come to his senses and started to
She could explain anything to me and I would understand straight away. She helped a lot for my education and always was there to help. My parents knew that she could teach me and show how hard it is these days and how hard I should work. That is why they always made sure I saw her enough but it never was for me.
All in all, my mother has had a great impact on my life. She encourages me to always grow and blossom into a better person each day of my life. No matter what happens in life, she has taught me to have faith and keep a smile on my face because better days will come. She’s been supportive and makes sure that I continue to prosper. Also, she has helped mold me into the young adult I am today and the success adult that I am sure to be in my future. My mother has greatly affected my life and for that she is greatly
