Rally: I would plan an Olympic themed rally. This Rally could appeal to all students, grades, interests and genders because we could use more than just sports. We would definitely use sports in games but we can add technology and academics. We would also be able to include something very important to me, the special olympics. As far as decorations go you would be able to use the five rings that make up the olympic symbol and You could make the rings out of hoola hoops and each class and the faculty could be its own team withs its own colored ring. When it comes to activities you could set up an obstacle course but as a twist athletes would have to be dresses in multiple layers of clothing or with ski jackets/pants, this represents the winter …show more content…
Another activity you could create is a sledding type activity while one player pulls the other on a tarp or other item. When you get to the summer olympics you could recreate a track and field relay where athletes have a baton and run back and forth across the gym jumping over hurdles and or going under different obstacles in their path. After they have completed this athletes could compete with each other to shoot free throws with a basketball almost as a shot put. Two large changes I would make to the rallys are that people in the crowd could have more involvement, I know it is not possible for all students to be selected for the activities but even a quick game or rock paper scissors with your neighbors or the simon says game would help. The other change I would make comes to music! What is students could pick what music is played at rallys! We could set up a link or a poster with songs and students could vote on what
Market penetration involves with entering a new market with an existing products (Ansoff, 1957). Red Bull can make changes in the products they offer by introducing different flavours and non-caffeine drinks to penetrate the new market. This diversification of products will show their innovative skills to their customers. The company should improve their existing product and use market research, product adaptation analysis, and legal review to seek expansion for the existing products (McDonald, 2007).
... school sports and clubs so they don't clash with academics we need to get Americas schooling back on top.
I can recall last year our president came up with a No Shave November fundraiser which involved a “who can grow the longest beard?” type of contest. We all had to sign up for committees that were a part of the set up. I co chaired an advertisement committee where we set up posters and got the word out about this new event so students would get involved. When it came down to sign ups, there was a low attendance. I overheard a group of guys arguing with each other about the contest and who would win, seeing that the competition part really excited them I challenged them to all join for the fun of it and a possible prize if they did win. All of them signed up that day and even though the event didn't end up being successful it was fun to see them involved and questioning me everyday about who was winning.
I struggled coming up with an idea this year. I wanted something that change big things but that not many people think about too much. My teacher, Mrs. Barnett gave me the idea of doing some sort of desegregation in sports and who started it. Basketball season was starting for me and so I looked it up. Turns out to be a very interesting story of Earl’s career and impact. My team consist of
I think the concept of Kobod’s box was a good idea, but adjustments would have to be made in order to make sure everyone could participate. I think doing random acts of kindness helps students learn about subjects that can tie into school, as well as real life situations. I liked that Torey used cooking as a way to teach the students about reading and math, as many recipes feature both. I also think cooking activities can be more fun for students as they are hands on. I also liked Torey’s use of imagination to transport the children to oceans or the wilderness. I believe this activity sparks creativity in children and would be a good technique to teach them about adjectives and imagery. My favorite of Hayden’s techniques and the one I would implement is the of traffic lights to signal a student’s behavior for the day. I have seen this technique used in many classrooms I have observed and it is a good visual way to keep student’s behavior in
I. Executive Summary Harley-Davidson is the largest market share holder of over 750cc motorcycles in the United States. After the expansion of our production and distribution capacity, we will be in the position to meet the increasing demand for our motorcycles and other products, including a new line of clothing specially designed for women. Growth potential appears very good, especially in the overseas market and the young and mature women and younger market. Gaining a larger market share in this area may require a further increase in production and distribution capacity. We must plan for expansion and build new strategies to target the woman, younger market, as well as the already HD owners and continue to grow as a company.
My school, Community School of Davidson has some things that would surpass my standards if I were class president. I would choose to change our homecoming, a time to celebrate our school. I believe that we should have a more traditional homecoming. This would consist of having the Homecoming football game on a Friday night. Then on that saturday we would have someone to go to the formal with, our date. This is what most schools do and I just think that it would be a lot of fun to get dressed up and go with your date to homecoming. Another thing that I would choose to change if I was running for class president is that I would choose to remove jumpstart, a time to be active during the day. I do like having the extra ten minutes to goof around
Activities will include music, arts & crafts, active and quiet games, reading, outdoor and indoor time, etc.
Another great point is that It inspires competition. Most kids compete at one time or another, but competing for something you are very passionate about is a game changer. Everyone has had a dance competition or a track meet, but imagine that on a much grander scale. When you are going through your strict regiment, trying to make it to the elite few in your class that
Going on school field trips that last overnight are fun but going and staying for more than one night is even better. Being able to go with your friends to a different state without any teachers that are from your school. Getting to meet new people that have the same interest in agriculture. Also meeting new people that now have an impact on your life. The trip to Denver was to go to the National Stock Show. It is the biggest Stock Show in the United States. Going for a school trip was to be educational and learn about what the shows look like and how people set up for visitors to view.
Salida Elementary has academically successful staff members. Together everyone could collaborate and come up with a program that would be motivating and exciting. We could also work physical education into the day where extra hours would not have to be added and learning in the classroom would not be affected.
My new proposal for my senior project is to set up a sports clinic for special needs children. My idea is for the group to meet two days a week and two play sports and meet other children like themselves. I thought of this idea because my brother has special needs and sometimes I do not have time to play with him or help him. This group will help him and other children meet each other, make friends, and be
I would participate in the Inside Out Project by having pictures of the victims of gun violence such as the Pulse Nightclub shooting, the Las Vegas shooting, and the victims of school shootings. I would also like to take pictures of immigrants in any age to raise awareness on how important it is that they remain in the country instead of being forcefully taken away. I would use the pictures as posters to hold during protests related to gun violence and immigration. This will change the community because not a lot of people have been willing to view different perspectives from theirs about these issues. Protests and the willingness to make a change has not been as visible here compared to big cities nationwide. These pictures will help the community
...had very few content and it had to be put together in a short, unexpected, time span. So far it has been the same for the school year of 2016-2017 because no one shows up, though I and the group still thrive to doing the very best. Yearbook is something I truly enjoy. Although, debate was very intellectual it is an activity I did not enjoy much. I was in the first Denver Urban Debate League team my school ever had. We were all very lost with the structure, the content, and in general. The first ever debate tournament I competed in, a student’s partner did not show up. I had planned on competing by myself but I decided to pair with the student due to her bad luck. I had never practiced her so it caused a barrier. My determination allowed me to complete the tournament with the student and win third place despite of the roadblock. Debate taught way power and willpower.
...sport all at once! Sports teach teens to get out of their comfort zone. It teaches them to make new friends. According to Debate.org Sports teaches students survival of the fittest.
