Imagine pulling up to a car show in your freshly purchased ride. You just shelled out three million dollars to show up and capture the eyes and lenses of every single spectator and photographer within a half-mile radius. You park your car among the most expensive at the show, but still manage to outshine them all. However, when you open the door and step out, all of the car aficionados approach you with their questions. What country is it from? Can it run on biofuel? If so, how much more horsepower does it make on ethanol than regular pump gas? How many gears and cylinders does it have? Is the transmission a single- or double-clutch? You quickly come to the realization that you may own the car, but you clearly know nothing about it, allowing …show more content…
High-value supercars have more to them than just their high cost. Primarily, the most important factor in deciding the best supercar manufacturer is the performance of its vehicles. In 1998, Australian Formula One car producer, McLaren, decided to take its racecar technology and apply it to a car that could be driven on the streets. The result: A V12-powered carbon fiber three-seater, ironically named the F1. The F1 is the perfect example of performance. The F1’s 627 horsepower took it around the Nardo racetrack in Italy with an average speed of 240.1 miles per hour, a record that stood for seven years. The McLaren’s performance for its time was unparalleled, and it makes an incredible driver’s car …show more content…
Ferrari is one of the most common examples of luxurious performance cars. Ferrari’s craftworkers spend hours making the entire interior of a single car, and it is all done by hand! Ferrari’s attention to detail proves that they are the height of luxury for the money. What if a buyer has more cash to spend and wants to create a car unlike any other? Pagani, another Italian car manufacturer, hand-picks the materials of the interior down to where they come from. Pagani’s one-off Huayra BC Macchina Volante was designed to commemorate Leonardo da Vinci and was carefully designed by its owner down to the most minute of details. Its bucket seats were crafted from the exact same materials as the seats in a championship-winning car made by Mercedes-Benz. Having such creative control over a car as the Pagani Huayra is the perfect way to design the ultimate of luxuries. Finally, the Koenigsegg Agera RS has a specifically designed triple-dampened rear suspension, allowing for absorption of the car’s body roll during acceleration, but still maintaining a comfortable ride. Its front wishbones are also placed on an unconventional angle to produce a similar effect in balancing ride feel and weight control. No one wants to spend three million dollars on a car and feel every single bump in the road. Luxury is a telltale sign of a supercar’s
...yers every year. The American public is not going to pay for something of standard quality and performance when they can get a better and less expensive car that out performs the higher priced one. "The bottom line clearly reveals that from this group of long time nemesis, the Camaro once again emerges as offering the most bang for the buck" (Bartlett 30 - 38).
Olympics fans are missing the fastest paced sport in the world. I think NASCAR should be one of the sports in the olympics. The following will help me get my point across: competitiveness, popularity, and that it is fast-paced.
Ferrari of today has gone through many cycles and strains upon the very framework of the company's existence, yet Ferrari still produces the fastest and classiest cars available publicly.
My favorite class, Pro Stock cars, on the other hand, looks like their showroom counterparts, but that's where the similarity ends. This class is reserved for 1990 or later two-door coupes and sedans that are limited to 500 cubic inches. These cars must have a milder powerhouse though. They must be carbureted, gas- burning cars. Other than that, there really aren't many more limitations.

When taking your car to a track day a good suspension is key. Having a track tuned suspension allows the driver to take corners at a higher speed resulting in faster lap times. The Nissan Features an Attesa AWD system and a Blisten Suspension. The Zr1 is RWD with an independent rear suspension. Furthermore with the GTR's AWD and electronic suspension leads to a big advantage on the track.
Perhaps the two most commonly known cars, the Chevy Camaro and the Ford Mustang, are the perfect examples of innovation. Each comes with sleek new body styles and a variety of different sports packages. New sports cars such as the 2015 Mustang, unlike the classic "kings" such as the, 1969 Mach Mustang, are not only faster, but are built better, and much more aerodynamic.

Today, cars are all about fun. The most favored car all around would have to easily be the Chevy Camaro. Even though there are several other sports cars such as the Pagani Zonda Revolucion, Dodge Viper, Ford Mustang, Subaru WRX STI and Dodge Charger, I would purchase the Chevy Camaro. One can argue that the Chevy Camaro is the best purchase based on cost, miles per gallon, comfort, luxury options and practicality.
Imagine that you’re driving on an open highway in the middle of summer. All you see in front of you is asphalt for miles and miles. The windows are down and your favorite song comes on the radio. You’re behind the wheel of a Tesla Model S, the newest electric car that can go from zero to sixty miles per hour in 2.4 seconds. This will soon be the future of all motor vehicles. Electric cars are beginning to have colossal impacts on our society because of their energy efficiency, performance benefits, and the fact that they are less harmful to the environment. In the near future, electric cars will dominate the road and eventually the planet’s overall need for oil will decrease immensely.
There are many different automobile companies providing buyers with many styles of cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles. Toronto Star January 14, 2005 present ways to approach the automotive buying process. There are many different surveys, crash reports, and rating systems comparing different companies and their vehicles. Things you should look for when reading these published articles are who conducted the study? Who paid for it? Who gains from it? Who loses? These are all things to keep eye on as some automotive companies will run their own surveys making their products seem overpowering against the competition. Some prove their products are safer then the competition where the competition has been proven time and time again to make that survey seem inaccurate.
One of the very first things a buyer should consider when looking for a car is what kind of car he/she wants. Many different factors can affect the car buying process. For one, the buyer must consider how big of a vehicle he/she wants and safety features like airbags, seatbelts, and working brakes. Itemizing a list of accessories can also help narrow down what kind of car to buy. While some people might prefer a Sedan with a large back seat and seat warmers, others may prefer an extreme luxury car with full stereo systems and miniature televisions. Every person has different tastes in accessories; luckily, there is a vehicle that can fit almost every personality. Most new models have the latest technology installed, although some of the “newer” used cars have the option of adding in those accessories. Once the...
