Queen Elizabeth the first is the one of the most important monarchs in the United Kingdom history. She is known for her great achievements, especially after her siblings reign, such as, the end of the religious problems and made England a colonizing power of the world. However, nobody focus on her life before she became Queen, therefore, I chose my topic of her early life. Elizabeth’s father was King Henry VIII born in June 28, 1491. He was the second son of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York. In April 21, 1509, Henry became King of England after his older brother, Arthur Prince of Wales, died in April 2, 1502. Consequently, Henry married his third wife, Jane Seymour in 1536, carrying the same goal, have a male child to continue the Tudors legacy. Although everybody thought that Henrys feelings towards his daughter Elizabeth was weakened by Anne Boleyn death, Henry was much too good a parent, because she was a precocious intelligent endured more to him. At six years old, she had as much gravity as if she had been fourteen. In addition Elizabeth was loved by her father and stepmother, Catherine Parr, who was Henry sixth wife and considered by Elizabeth as second mother. On 1537, Catherine Parr gave birth to the first male child, Edward IV. As Edward grew up, it was natural that a close affection should develop between him and Elizabeth, for they were near in age, and the tutors and guardians were the same school thought. At this point, her older stepsister, Mary succeeds as Queen of England and imprisoned Elizabeth in the Tower of London. For the next five years, she lived under house arrest while Mary tries to decide whether to execute Elizabeth or not. Furthermore, Queen Mary was raise as Christian and always hate it the changed made by her father, which made her killed everyone that declares to be Anglican, such as, Elizabeth.
