Many studies showed that French-Canadian Quebecers were earning the lowest wage in all of the ethnic groups in Canada. Other complaints were that the top jobs in Quebec were given to English speaking Canadians. The Ontario school system does not prepares students for the stress of living away from home. At the high school level, whenever a student is having a problem, the school calls the parents to fix the problem. High schools also have parent-teacher interviews where the parents and teachers discuss problems of the students without them present. Parents are alerted as soon as their son or daughter is having any sort of problem. Having the parents involved all the time results in the students to not be able to solve their own problems. Because of the Ontario school system’s protocol of having parents involved at all times students are not prepared for the stress of having to deal with their own problems at University.

The education system has been a controversial issue among educators. Requirements of school do not let student choose what they want to study for their future. It’s a big issue to force student study specific curriculums, which don’t help them improve, and what they like to create something. Educators choose a general system for education to all students which based on general knowledge. Intelligent or genius students have to be in that system of education, which doesn’t let them improve their creativity. Educators attempt to change that system to make it better, but their changing was not that great to be an example for the world. Also, did that change qualify education system to compete other systems or not? In some examples and reasons have been made me agree with some of points from Gatto’s and Edmunson’s and disagree them.
Opponents of school choice have many valid concerns, not the least of which should be what will become of children that have parents or guardians who are uninvolved in the child's education. As proponents of school choice, we must openly examine these concerns and be ready to provide solutions that directly address these concerns.

If everyone in the community including the teachers care about education we would have a lot better public schools. My experience in a public school was good my school was a pretty good public school. I believe that while France’s education system may not be as highly regarded as say Japan’s or South Korea’s, it is generally on the right track of helping prepare children for a successful adult life. One of the aspects of the French education system that I respect most is the fact that every child has free access to a pre-school education. This is important as it puts children ahead once they enter primary school and it helps them adapt to what schooling is like before it becomes more “serious”. Additionally, aside from the educational aspect, it is great for parents as it ensures that their children have a place to go while they are at work. Another aspect that I liked about the French education system was how students are given a specific path of study to focus on while still in secondary school. I think this can help students determine at a younger age whether they really like what they are doing and can see if it is something they see themselves doing before they go on to college. However, what I do not like about this idea is how parents are the ones who choose what their child should study. While this approach may work in some families, I believe students would be more successful and more motivated to work hard if they themselves choose the paths they want to study. It’s the nature of parents to want the best for their children. They want to give the best clothes, the most nutritional food and what is the most important is the best education for their children. However, it is a little bit more complicated when it comes to decide what is best for their children’s education. It is very difficult to decide for the children’s education path especially when they are entering college or university, because at this age most children have not discovered their true identity and interest yet. A lot of students nowadays do not have any satisfactory answer when they were asked why they chose a particular course or subject in university. Most of them will probably answer because it is what their parents tell them to learn and this situation is really a concern that people need to put their thought into. University students should know why they want to take a particular course in order for them to have a clear life goal and ardour to achieve it. They should not hide behind their parents shadow and just blindly follow what their parents think they should do. It is vital for parents not to make final decision for their children’s field of studies due to the generation gap, dissimilar passion and also higher probability of inaccurate judgement.
