Right now, in our society a college education is no longer an option or privilege, but rather a necessity. We are practically raised and conditioned to believe that one needs higher education in order to succeed in life. My parents have always encouraged me to be successful in life and get a good education. You should value education like it's your life. Your education is very worthwhile.
To begin with, not everyone is going to be good at all things. If you try hard you will succeed. Being successful is hard. "J.K. Dual enrollment allows high school students to enroll in college courses. An early start on college is a great idea because you can see what college is like before you even graduate. Plus, you don’t have to pay ANYTHING. " Taking advanced dual enrollment classes made a big difference in Paj Ntaub Lee's life." (An early start on College). You graduate with your AA degree if you do dual enrollment also.
Secondly, college IS worth it! " College graduates earn more, and are more likely to have a job in the first place- and is especially important for some Americans." (Actually, College is very much worth it.) Education gives you choices. College graduates are likely to be in jobs with better benefits. But not every young person is suited for four years of college. " The economic gaps between college completers and those with less education are getting larger, too".
Once again, not every job requires a college degree. " Last year, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, 46% of recent college graduates were in jobs that don’t even require a college degree". (Why college isn't and shouldn’t have to be for everyone). A four-year college degree isn't necessary for many of tomorrow's good jobs.
