June 12, 2016, Omar Mateen casually walked into pulse night club at night with one thing on his mind: to kill. He stealthily pulled a gun out and randomly targeted 102 people. This was the worst act of terrorism since 9/11, were injured. The barbaric behavior evident in”The Most Dangerous Game,”The Scarlet Ibis ,” and To Kill a Mockingbird can teach readers how to handle situations differently.
First, in “The Most Dangerous Game,” General Zaroff displays murderous, psychopathic behavior. He lures his clueless prey into a dangerous game of Tom and Jerry. General Zaroff explains his psychopathic decisions to rainsford:”We’ll visit my training school tomorrow,’’ smiled the General.”It’s in the cellar. I have about a dozen pupils down there now”(connell226). This is barbaric because he tells Rainsford about the twelve people he is training for him to hunt. One of the Barbaric characters is Doodle’s brother; in the story the brother is barbaric to his little brother Doodle. For example, one day the brother took doodle to the barnloft and showed him his casket, telling him how him and his family believed he would die. Again, another a barbaric behavior is Doodle’s brother is teaching him to walk for selfish reasons,’’’So I won’t have to haul you around all the time,’’’(hurt 388). The reason the brother was being barbaric to Doodle is because It’s wrong to show little brother the casket that he is going to be in when he dies and tell him that they all believed that he would die. In addition, another reason is the brother is being selfish because instead of helping doodle to be kind he doing it for himself cause he is tired of having him around. Last, this story will teach readers to really look at how their life is not like Doodle’s and to really thank God for the life they
