Psychology Internship Personal Statement

As a senior, my current post-graduation plan is to participate in a service program such as AmeriCorps, Peace Corps, Teach for America, and Teaching English Abroad for a year or two before moving on to a graduate program. I am interested in participating in this type of program because it will provide me with a unique opportunity to serve others, develop leadership skills, build my personal brand, and also further explore my career interests that will influence my thereafter graduate school plans.

It offers me the opportunity to immerse myself in psychology through a different perspective and experience how the theories that I have learned in the classroom are applied in the real world beyond the physical boundaries of the classroom walls.
