Absolutely you are right. The political polarization has arisen when the both political parties has not given a single space to each other. both of the parties stick with their own believes, ideology and concept. But it has created a lots of issues as well. Now-a-days when an issue has arisen in congress both of the parties stayed in their pole. The debate get stared most of the senators of a certain party has strictly supporting their parties own ideology or view. As a result any of a party won't leave little bit space for each other. Finally, the issue has remain unsolved. That creates more issues apparently which all approaches with the same manner. So that again create

more and more issues. At the end it has created a massive gridlock.

You are absolutely right. The issue of polarization has increased in the past thirty years. In my post I have given a statistics of reducing the mixed viewer or neutral voters. I have shown that almost about 10% of neutral voters has been reduced since 1994. So that means as like the political parties a huge number of our voter or supporters have taking place under a certain political party's umbrella. They will not leave supporting their own political party's ideology anymore. So while an issue has arisen they also become divided among them. They also polarized out national politics.

Now a days this gridlock or political polarization is a massive threat for our nation. Because the congress has not come to the position of compromising anymore. The debate is going on over various issue. I believe for the greater interest this political polarization should dissolve and both of the party should compromise with each other to solve the issues which are beneficial for our nation.
