The time period of the deal was very rough, many people suffered to take care of their family's and could barely make it by, unfortunately Roosevelt had to deal with this. The new deal was something nobody had ever dealt with before, Roosevelt did what he could to help our nation and sadly not everything ended the way he would have liked. Our national debt was higher than it had ever been, this was the start to World War Two and many other things occurred that we regrettably could not fix, but the good outweighed the bad many new laws were passed and are still around today. As people struggled to find jobs due to the harsh conditions during the new deal, roosevelt was able to increase the employment rate, although it was not by much it was better than nothing, “The new deal itself created millions of jobs and sponsors the public works project that reached most every county in the nation”(ushistory.org). Some people may disagree and say that roosevelt did more bad than good , because of its increasing debt that we are still recovering from today, the unemployment rate was still at 19%, and it brought us into world war two, our nation was also served with many long lasting laws that have crucially benefited us and has created better living standards both economically and socially,for the living proof we are given today, the good has outweighed the bad. As roosevelt struggled to make the right decision all the time he did his best to do what he thought was right for us, it may not have always been the most correct, but this situation was never dealt with before and it was definitely a big Success for Roosevelt.

The new deal has impacted us in many great ways. It was given us life long liberty and security. Roosevelt had many hard times as he tried to get through this rough patch. He was able to get us through this era better than anyone else would have done, he allowed us to rely on him to fund us as our nation was barely getting by, although he put us into an all time high on debt, the New Deal was still a success and I would not have wanted anyone else as our nation's leader during this rough
