Canada is like a bird it likes to soar freely. Canadians have good lives because Canada has, free healthcare free education and an amazing welfare system. Unfortunately, I will not be able to mention the fact that we have cuter polar bears, amazing places to see like Newfoundland, a place where there are glaciers to admire when the sun goes down.

Many people don't appreciate living in such an amazing country. We have many benefits that other countries don't have the privilege of having. Tomson describes the opportunities we have in Canada very well. I don't really like how he describes Australia compared to Canada. He shouldn't have described it as he did; because it made it seem like Australia isn't as beautiful as Canada, which it is. Australia is also very beautiful in its own way, such as how the desert's waves remind you
Today I am here to discuss the perks and the good of British Columbia joining Confederation. Joining Confederation means that British Columbia will receive things that the province is in desperate need of, such as a rail link to the East, and help with debt and government. If British Columbia were to choose differently from Confederation, economic isolation, no support from Great Britain or becoming enemies with Great Britan, and American invasion would be the case. British Columbia is falling apart, and so are the people and the economy. Who will help us as we continue to fall?
Canada has become a superior nation thru, perseverance, courage and even care as they persevered thru many dark battles, and made sure they all came thru together as a unit other than individuals. Their courage made there fighting 100% stronger as they wouldn’t back down to any task and they weren’t afraid to lose their life to help a fellow friend and country out. Care played a major aspect in each Canadian heart. There cared about Britain so they weren’t to go help them when they declared war, they helped other troops with their emotional problems and lastly they even cared a little about there enemies as they are the same person, however the only thing separating them is there culture. Canada is known by outsiders to be a very peaceful country. But if you ask any Canadian, they will tell you that is unfortunately not the case. There is a large ongoing conflict between Canadians. The conflict is between the French and the English, or more specifically between Quebec and the rest of Canada. As a result of this conflict, along with some wrongdoing and propaganda.
The culture of Canada refers to the shared values, attitudes, standards, and beliefs that are a representative of Canada and Canadians throughout Canada's history, its culture has been influenced by American culture because of a shared language, proximity, television and migration between the two countries. Overtime, Canadian-American relations have helped develop Canada’s identity during the years 1945-1982; thus introducing changing social norms , media and entertainment. In support of this, due to the United States being approximately 9.25 times larger in population and having the dominant cultural and economic influence it played a vital role in establishing Canada’s identity. With Canada being its neighbour, naturally, the United States would influence their way of life upon Canada. In other words,
Today, Canada is among the most free and secure countries in the world. Although Canada has gone through some rough patches, like every country is bound to do, it is safe to say that all Canadians should be proud of the country that Canada is today. When faced with the question, “Is Canada a country to be proud of?”, the answer is simple, yes. The justification for this response is explained through many reasons, however a few stand out. These outstanding reasons are, one being Canada’s participation in peacekeeping missions, another being the Canadian charter of human rights, and lastly Canada’s participation in war. All of these three essential reasons substantiate that Canada is truly one of the finest countries in
Immigration is of great economic and social benefit to Canada. It’s an important role in developing our economy, and it shapes the nation into a multicultural nation. Immigration is a significant role in building our economy, providing growth in the labor force, making a strong economy, and becoming a multicultural nation.
Everywhere around us is our heritage. Our government, language, customs and habits, music, books and a wide variety of scientific inventions are gifts to us from our ancestors who lived in Canada. But, the influence of our heritage has been shaped by the influence of United States and many other nations. The histories of these nations have helped us become the country that it is today. Everyone living in Canada is lucky to have a great country, without many problems. I think, it is not hard to say that everyone is proud Canadian.
In 2010 Barack Obama signed the healthcare reform law requiring all Americans to have insurance. While this law decreases the problem of the uninsured in America, it does not solve the problem of the ever increasing cost of healthcare in America. As it stands today, America is the only major industrialized country that does not provide a universal health care system to its citizens (see Appendix A for a geographical view of nations with universal healthcare).

Yet, from 1815 to 1914 Canada wasn’t inviting immigrants of all ethnic, social and racial foundations, or those who were disabled. The immigration act publicly stated this “No immigrant shall be permitted to land in Canada, who is... an idiot, or an epileptic, or who is insane, or has had an attack of insanity within five years; nor shall any immigrant be so landed who is deaf or dumb [unable to speak], or dumb, blind or infirm; ... afflicted with a loathsome disease or with a disease which is contagious or infectious and which may become dangerous to the public health; ... a pauper, or destitute, or professional beggar, or vagrant, or who is likely to become a

These two countries are in a “happy marriage” meaning they both work together and have prominent economic ties. For many reasons, their relations are healthy, but there are 3 reasons that stand out. Canada and the USA have a healthy connection because they have been close trading partners, they have similar values, and they have alliances and treaties. As a result of the events which occurred between these two countries, Canada and the USA formed and still have a great relationship.

Canadians are some of the best-educated people in the world, with an adult literacy rate of 99%. Children are required by law to attend school up to the age of 15 or 16, depending on the province, and university attendance --mostly funded by the government-- is commonplace. A low crime rate usually follows in countries where good education and social welfare (including universal health care) are standard, and Canada is no exception. Toronto, Canada's largest city with around 4 million people, is continually rated as among the safest urban sprawls in North America.
