The purpose of Application of a Motor Learning Treatment for Speech Sound Disorders in Small Groups was to evaluate the effectiveness of motor-learning based therapy, also called Concurrent Treatment, within groups of up to four elementary public school students with disordered articulation, normal language, and normal hearing. The authors of this paper recognized that while many studies have been done to determine the efficacy of students in individualized therapy settings, few studies had been done to look at therapy within small groups. Therefore, the researchers tested twenty-eight 6-9 year old children within a small group using Concurrent Treatment. The children were able to acquire their targeted speech sounds within 40 30-minute sessions (20 hours over 20 weeks).

Serval major factors serve as barriers including home mobility, school mobility, mental health concerns, social difficulties, lack of financial support, lack of access to college, and social difficulties.
Children are our future and they should be given every possible opportunity to succeed in life even if they are born into disadvantaged situations. Sometimes the families of certain children can’t provide as much as other children’s families and this can create a gap in the achievement and development of these children. Those disadvantaged children need special programing that accommodates for the lack of cognitive and social development that if not properly addressed could lead to poor school performance and delinquency.

In the United States, about forty to fifty percent of people, who get married, get divorces in their lifetime (Kazdin, 2000). When families choose to get a divorce, they are effecting everyone around them. If children are involve, the impact could be even worse. There are ways to help families to not get a divorce but not all divorces can be overturned. One of these marriage saving strategies is marriage counseling and pre-marriage counseling.
Thematic analysis is espoused to be the foundational approach to qualitative analysis and methods (Saunders et al., 2016 as stated in Braun and Clarke, 2006: 78) and it is a useful method used to identify and analyse the order and patterns of qualitative data (Attride-Stirling, 2001). Qualitative research method depicts the correlation that exists between data and events, creating the pictorial representation of what one thinks a given data says (Saunders et al., 2016). Hello audience, I am a young, healthy boy who is currently enrolled as a senior student in secondary school education. I am here to inform and address you of the issue about the lack of mental health care service support at elementary and secondary schools. From personal experience every year and every day I have attended school, I see students who hide and face conflict frequently. One of my close friends deals with challenges almost every day! It saddens me and many others to see that no mental-health support is provided to these fighters.
