Everyone knows we can always pay someone wash our car, but why would we pay TLC to wash it, when you can do the same job or better at home. It saves you money and a good source of exercise. It’s not hard if you have the right supplies. To properly wash a car, you will need: a bucket, water/water hose, wash cloth for tires, wool mitt, and car wash such as, Rain-X. Dish detergent would be too harsh to use, that’s why it best to use a car wash. Once the supplies are gathered, you should be ready to wash it, rinse it, and clean the tires. The first step is to wash the car. Lather up the car wash in the bucket really good, it provides lubrication to the paint surface. Rinse all surfaces of the car, to remove any loose dirt and dust. Take the wool mitt drop it into the bucket, get it soaking wet, so the mitt will slide gently across the car. Once your started, concentrate on one section at a time, for example wash the hood and front windshield before moving on. Always start at the top then go towards the bottom, it helps to ensure that no stops have been missed. Also, when washing the car make sure to use long horizontal strokes and not circles it will create swirl marks on the paint.
