Everyone dreams of becoming one of the best athlete out there. You get to travel around the world playing the sport you love, visiting your fans, and of course being a millionaire. But not everyone can be the best. It takes a lot of skill, and hard work. So, to help you on your journey to be a really good athlete, a soccer player to be exact, just follow these five tips.
Don't ever show up for practice.
If you have things going on or just don't feel like going to practice, just forget about it. Your coach will understand if you have something going on, so don't worry or feel guilty if you miss some practices. Who needs practice anyways? 2. Give up if you don't succeed.
Trying to be the best player is difficult and hard to achieve. So if you're doing the worst out of all your teammates, just give up. You don't need to be the best player on the team, but try your best so that you can become the best. In the end, you will be in the big leagues and be better than any other player.

Play a position you don't know how to play.
In soccer, there are four positions: defence, midfield, forward, and goalie. On forward and midfield you score goals, and defence defends you're goal. So if you're really good at forward, I suggest you ditch that position and play defence. You won’t have the right skills and technique, but that doesn’t matter. You need to learn the other spots on the field. Even if it means your teammates will thank you when they lose every game because of you.
In soccer, there are no time outs and little stoppage of play, so communication with coaches is limited. For a team to play well, each player must know what they need to do on and off the field. The objective of a soccer team is very simple; score and do not let your opponents score. When your team has the ball, every player already knows to help the person who has the possession of the ball to score. As soon as the ball is lost to the opponent,
The first step you would have to do to be successful in soccer is by eating healthy. Eating healthy will give you more energy and potential whenever you’re playing or practicing the sport. You would have to eat vegetables, fruits, and also drink healthy smoothies and of course, a lot of water. You could sometimes eat junk food, but remember to not eat
From an early age I always knew I would be playing soccer my whole life. My dad showed me the ropes of how to play and got me interested right away. By the age of three I had started playing, and to this day I have not stopped. Soccer has been a huge part of my life and I don’t know where I would be today if I never played. I met some amazing people playing soccer including my coaches who encouraged me and told me never to give up as well as my teammates who became my friends and were always there for me.
Soccer players are used to playing in different positions. The most glorified and exciting positions are seen as the attacking ones. However, every great coach will tell you that you start building your team from the back. A defender’s primary duty is to win back the ball from the opposition and prevent them from scoring. Teams play with anywhere from three to five at the back and each member of the defense tends to have a different, yet equally important duty. One type of defensive role is the sweeper positions. Not all teams use them in modern soccer. Not every team will play with a sweeper because they will want to play the offside-trap
Even though football and soccer often share a name, the two sports are vastly different: they both contain their own merits though; each has its own athletes, rules, and fan base. Athletes in both sports are incredibly fit and in control of their bodies although they can differ. In soccer, all positions require speed, agility, and leg dexterity in order to out run their opponent and maneuver the ball while in football the variety of positions require different attributes. Height is only beneficial in soccer for some defenders and mid-fielders in order to gain an advantage to jump for heading while it can act to slow attackers who need speed and quickness above jump height. Speed, in both running and ball control, is required above all else to chase or lose the other team. To wrestle control of the ball from opponents, defenders in soccer must simply be stronger than the lightweight sized attackers. Only goalies need hand-eye coordination while the rest of the team needs only foot finesse. In football the many positions require their own set of needs. Quarterbacks must be tall to see the field over the lineman and have a good arm to throw the ball. Lineman must be as large and strong as possible to block or move the opposing line man. Runningbacks need speed and quickness to out run and dodge while having enough strength to break tackles and hold on to the ball. Receivers are similar except that they also need hand-eye coordination to catch passes and height to outreach the defense. Linebackers must be the most versatile, with strength to take down ball carriers and a combination of speed and coordination to keep up with receivers. Defensive backs need to keep up with receivers to stop passes. Mentally, it is demanded that players...
I played soccer since I was seven, as of the last few years I played at a very high level. I have represented Ohio South two times at a regional showcase, I have been invited to participate in a camp in Manchester, England and attended the camp twice. Also last Season for the Newark High School soccer team I was named first team all league and third team all central district. Soccer was the first sport I truly loved to do, I wanted to be the best. I work hours upon hours to master whatever part of the game I wanted to improve on. Soccer has taught me to have a great work ethic, and that mentality came when I was cut from the state team the first time I tried out. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me, I was destroyed, and I thought I was not good but I knew I could do better. The next year I worked, I got bigger, stronger, faster, my soccer I.Q. was higher;therefore, overall I was a much better player. The result of that work, was that I made the team, but not only, I made the starting line up. After that I knew I could accomplish anything I put my mind to.

...ike at the ball. Individual skills are useful only when they fit in with the team. Soccer teams use strategies, and a good player must understand his responsibilities to the team and must use his skills accordingly. Soccer players must learn to think for themselves during games. Since there are no time-outs, they hear from their coaches only at half time - and then only for a few minutes. If adjustments in team strategy are needed during play, the members of the team must know enough to make them by themselves. Each player must be adaptable enough to play both offense and defense, to take the responsibilities of a teammate in certain situations. Every player must be prepared to do everything. Soccer provides a fine balance between individual skills and teamwork. Playing winning soccer requires the cooperative effort of eleven men and the individual skills of each.
Before kicking a football, one must have the proper positioning. Be sure to stand about three steps away from the football. If one is a right-footed player, he or she should take three steps back with one step to the left. As a left-footed player, he or she should take three steps back with

Soccer the most popular sport in the world, since is the sport with more active players with around 270 million athletes. By having registered so many players, it’s not surprising that this sport has more fans than any other sport worldwide. Every team looks for a player that moves the ball, and that creates plays to score. This means a person that pass the ball through the entire game. To pass the ball in a proper way is one of the main skills a player needs to play soccer. Passing the ball, keeps the game going. Without being able to pass the ball accurately to your teammates, more than likely your team won’t be able to score a goal. The key for passing is to keep things simple. This means passing the ball to your nearest teammate that is not marked by an opponent.
While playing soccer through the years, I have learned the importance of being a team player, a leader, and to think outside the box.
Soccer is a sport that takes a lot of commitment and teamwork to succeed in games. Even though most sports do take commitment and teamwork to succeed,
Nick Adam’s Time Every generation has a time; an event that occurs changing their perception of the world, and for Ernest Hemingway’s generation, it was the advent of the first World War. When “the war in which we had refused to believe broke out…it brought—disillusionment” ("Sigmund Freud"), and change to America. In his book, In Our Time, Ernest Hemingway explores the change and disillusionment of that time, using short stories and vignettes to form a story structure that approximates the journey of his generation during this time.
These steps are long and hard but soon I will be playing with the pros. If I follow every step I will make it. I will work hard every day to be the best I can be on the soccer field. I will practice every day and make sure I perfect
