There is no doubt that in today’s society the need of private security is important. For many years, it has been a major part of everyday life that even goes back to the ancient times. Through the years, many private businesses have used it as a means to protect life and property as private security is essential. Private security agencies have also been given some police power in order to assisting law enforcement with certain function that often helps improve services in particular areas (Strom et al., 2010).
