President Hoover’s policy was not acceptable he needed to actually keep his promises and deliver the people out of the Great Depression. He did this by persuading people to think positive, and be confident that the Great Depression would be over soon. Hoover also said he would change, poverty along with the environment people were living with. President Hoover tried to convince people that even though the wealth of our country was falling apart, they should trust him that things would change over time. Because the nation as they knew was decaying, nothing changed it just kept getting worse every day.
