Recommended: The importance of early childhood education

Is it better to start the 12 years journey of education by going to preschool? Different people have different opinions regarding this question. Some people agree that preschool is an important stage for children to start the journey of education, as it helps them to learn how to make friends. Others think that kids are too young to start learning from that age, so they should have fun being at home during that time. All things considered, it is clear that preschool may be important for many reasons; it prepares children for primary level, and decreases the chance of them having mental problems and being placed in special classes.
One reason is that preschool is a fresh technique to make children start the journey of education, as it prepares them for primary school. Preschool prepares them in many ways; one way is how to share and socialize. A family in Doha sent their …show more content…

This is because children can stay at home during that time and when they enter primary school they will learn anyway. This might be true but when kids are in kindergarten they learn new things that they might not be able to learn at home like sharing and group work. In primary school, teachers will mainly focus on teaching alphabets, numbers, shapes and colors. Secondly, many people think that when children go to preschool the bond between the child and his mother will be broken. This might also be true in some way, but if the mother still pays a lot of attention to her child at home after he comes back from kindergarten the bond between them will still be strong. Also, many women work and keep their children with house maids, in this case preschool might be a safer place for the child as there is a fewer chance for the child to be abused, because there are many children and different teachers there. As an advantage of preschools, it will help the child a lot to leave his mother easily when going to primary
