Poverty In The United States Essay

Poverty is one of the causes in which many people in the United State are extremely poor and cannot afford anything within the state they reside in. The causes and effects of poverty is significant, because if you are extremely poor, it is hard to afford many items and to live within that state. Poverty is the main cause to why many people within the United States cannot be able to get a job and do not live on the streets. Many causes of Poverty could be the lack of jobs and anti-poverty programs, Costs of living and many luxuries, and the background history that cannot allow people to get jobs. These causes can all affect the living style everyone in the U.S have. Each cause of Poverty has a different amount of people falling into poverty. Thus, showing how certain states have more people in poverty while others have little amounts of people with poverty.

An analysis of Poverty suggests that if the causes of poverty continue to appear in the United States, more and more people will fall victim

Thus, leading the United States into an even greater debt that they cannot escape from. For example, the state of Hawaii has 37% of their population that live with deep poverty. This is due to the fact of their high costing living space along with their costly luxuries. In Maryland, they have nearly 38% of their population living in deep poverty. Most of which is caused by unemployment, and the lack of anti-poverty programs within the state. Also, 70% of residents living in poverty in Maryland all come from Baltimore. The residents there may be unemployed due to their criminal records on their resumes. This could be a huge cause of the poverty in Maryland. On a final note, the causes and effects of poverty could greatly impact the United States by putting its residents in an extreme
