Wellbeing can be defined as a positive mental state. Positive outcome helps the individual to perceive their lives as going greatly. It is associated with individual’s evaluation and perception about themselves. An individual experiencing good wellbeing shows good spirits towards their day-to-day activities. Our social and family situation plays a critical role in our wellbeing. People enjoying wellbeing can balance their work & family better. Research shows that people with intimate and happy relationships have greater wellbeing (Scott, Braithwaite, Raquel & Frank, 2010). While spending leisure time with partner they are getting more time to communicate and this will be helpful to improve their mutual understanding. A better understanding in relationship can improve wellbeing of people (Marieke, Jonathan & Tanja, 2007). This may be the reason married people reported high rates of subjective wellbeing. Online friendship also has a strong relation with wellbeing (Junghyun & Roselyn Lee 2011). The intensity of closeness in friendship is related to intimacy and one’s ability to manage conflict (Cow, Ruhl & Duane 2013). The quality of friendship shows more influence on wellbeing than the quantity of friendship. Quality of friendship can predict individual’s happiness, belongings and anxiety. Positive friendship enhances happiness and belonging feelings, but negative friendship can cause anxiety (Gleckel, 2015). Friendship and friends are very important for adolescents and adults (Gainsley, 2013). Friendship helps individual to improve themselves, achieve great things and develop personal qualities. It helps to develop openness and sharing towards others. Good friendship helps to develop trust feeling that will be an asset for a good relation.
