Bullying is a ubiquitous problem that has been around for many years. Teachers and parents have tried to solve it with punishments but they rarely try to use positive strategies. Positive strategies help kids improve their problems, conflicts and behavior in and out of school.
Positive strategies help kids improve their problems, conflicts and behavior in and out of school. This is very unnecessary, bullying needs to be solved with positive strategies. For example, a reporter from Coonan High School states“ Kelly, an eighth grader at Cloonan High, began mentoring Tiara… Tiara’s behavior changed dramatically… She stopped bullying other students, she hasn’t been in the principal's office in months”.This proves bullying can be solved with positive strategies,because in the quote its says “ She stopped bullying other students”. They bully because they are mentally upset in some way. In an article that was recently read it states “Some kids bully to make themselves feel better”. This quote seems odd but it turns out to be very true. In fact, bullying may actually make you feel better. Some possible causes of bullying could be from family conflict, depression, and even when kids feel like they don’t have enough control or power. All of this evidence leads up to the point that many kids have issues and the best way to solve issues is to talk about them . In other words, positive strategies such as therapy can allow kids to share their problems and conflicts so they can get assistance with them. With the help of councilors and instructers kids may possibly overcome this well known issue we like o call bullying. To sum it up, many kids bully to make themselves feel better. More teachers and parents need to use more positive strategies such as therapy to solve these
