Every human being that exists in this world has their own positive and negative ingredients in their life that makes them who they are. One of my own positive ingredients are my friends. They have taught me what real friendship is. Because of them, I know how to trust, laugh, have fun, and be myself. Another positive ingredient that has made me who I am is my family. I have learned from my family what love really is. Being able to risk your life for someone because you love them that much is love, which my family has shown and given me. They have shown me how to support each other and others. My parents have taught me to be kind to everyone and to reach for my goals. Being a good student has taught me that you have to work hard for what you want and have to be disciplined . If I keep working hard in school and reaching for my goals, then my dreams, such as becoming a doctor, will become reality. Above all, however, I have God. God is the one who gives me faith, hope, and love when I need it the most. He is the one who has given me all these ingredients that make me who I am. He has blessed me with my wonderful friends, family, and my abilities to excel in school. If it were not for him, I would certainly not be the person I am today. God, however, has also given me negative ingredients that have made me who I am. One of those would be when I broke, dislocated, and had surgery on my finger. That event taught me that I should be grateful for being healthy. Even though I only had surgery on one tiny little finger, that still made a large impact on what I was capable of doing. I could not do my school work because I could not write. I could not exercise, play sports, or participate in P.E. All those activities are what I enjoyed doing, and not being able to do them for a long period of time made me realize how lucky I am that my injury could be fixed compared to the many illnesses and injuries that
