Popular culture basically describes as new world which is created by young generation. Popular culture has changed the point of view of our life in many way. It has made our life more enjoyable than ever before. Popular culture has many positive benefits personally as well as on our society by entertainment, by TV shows and commercial ads, as well as by art and artist.
First of all, popular culture has many positive impacts on our personal life by entertainment. For one thing, young generation likes pop music bands nowadays. For example, one of my younger cousins loves the One Direction. She considers that, whenever she listens to One Direction songs helps her to do well in her study and exams. For one thing, we see famous artists as our role models. One example of that would be Michael Jackson, who give a new life pop music. He has promoted the dances and pop music all over the world in his time. As Arman Ahsaei says, “American pop culture is spreading all over the world” (The Pop Culture Is the World 's Culture). Dispersion our culture would not possible without our artists. Our artists made American society feel proud when he became famous. Our upcoming generation wants to be like him nowadays. In addition, William Shakespeare was another person who helped our society to become educated with his great literature work. For example, one of his famous acts “Romeo and Juliet” which teach us a lot about life. Everyone should respect relationship with others, envious has no place in life. For instance, Marie Plasse mention that, “Shakespeare work and play still has influence on us with developing English words and literary even in popular culture” (13-16). Especially, he plays teach our society that. Also, quilt is one of the way to build popular culture. For example, bell hooks writes about, “one of the longest on going art projects in the world is the AIDS quilt” (351).
