Recommended: Religion acts as a conservative force

I got the Faith and Family Left result on my Political Typology Quiz. It says The Faith and Family Left combine strong support for activist government with conservative attitudes on many social issues. Fully 85% of the Faith and Family Left says religion is very important. Besides that, 51% of them want the government to do more to protect morality - the highest percentage of any typology group. This is an only typology group that is “majority-minority”.
In the Political Compass quiz, it states that I am Authoritarian right. The members of Authoritarian right group are people who have a high degree of willingness to submit to authorities they perceive as established and legitimate. They support what is fair and justifiable. Besides that, the people who belong Authoritarian right group usually show a tendency toward authoritarian submission and conventionalism.
The Political Typology Quiz said that I belong to the Faith and Family, and this group supports the help of the government by giving government aid for the poor even if that will add to the deficit. In addition, the test also said I believe that the government should do more to solve national problems. Besides that, the Faith and Family Left group’s member usually “oppose same-sex marriage and legalizing marijuana and most say religion and family are at the center of their lives”. Authoritarian right’s members want society and social interactions develop in ways that increase uniformity. Therefore, they support social control and coercion.
