A political spectrum is a spectrum that represents political parties and their current standings on different situations in the country. Parties that are found on the far ends of these spectrums are usually known as extremists, as they believe strongly for something.
From the left to right, kinds of government spans from monarchies, oligarchies, democracies, republics, and then anarchy. Monarchies do not really exist nowadays, since there is usually a group of elites who nominates one of their own to rule, which is an oligarchy, which is a common form of government in today’s world. Anarchy also does not really exist, because usually the people who started the movement of pushing anarchy create some form of government, which is often an oligarchy. Democracies benefit the majority, so the minority are left out, so it is not that effective, since the majority can be wrong. The Republic is what the U.S. has today, which is a limited government that gives the people space.
One political spectrum cannot accurately portray every single party, as some parties feel very liberal towards certain topics, and conservatively for others. In addition, every person thinks differently, so there is no …show more content…
