I have the qualification and the experience to serve in the Los Santos Police Department. I am very sociable who gets along with everyone, I know the rules and abide by them correctly, I am a law-abiding and loving our country enough to committed to the Los Santos Police Department and protect and serve. I was a police officer in the military and that's where I gained the experience and the qualification. I'm an honorable person who respects others and I think I should be picked to join the force, because I am the kind of person who will fight to death just to protect the citizens, because they deserve to live in peace, and I am willing to take a bullet for every citizen in our country, because that's who I am.

I graduated college with a degree in physics and law and I think that with my skills I can help in training in firing range and teach some physics rules that can improve the officers' accuracy. Also I have management ability or you can call it a leadership ability and that's can help improving our work in the station, in patrols and almost everything is all about good management/leadership.

My career goals is to keep Los Santos clean from criminals and the citizens safe. I think every officer who committed to the Los Santos Police Department first of all did it to help the citizens and protect those who can not protect themselves. And if not, that's at least why I want to become a police officer, to protect and serve those who can not protect themselves.

The Baltimore City police have faced a myriad of problems in the last year. The riots following the Freddie Gray arrest were reported around the country and created a situation where the Governor was forced to call in the National Guard to protect the city. Community leaders report that African American’s are stopped, searched and arrested at a far greater number than Caucasian’s. The Baltimore city police are at an impasse with the community at this time, it is up to the city leaders and the police officials to come up with some real solutions to the issues that can no longer be ignored.
Chapter 10 was a good read, the role organizational structure plays within an organization of all sizes is very important. Organization is the most important part of any business. In the business of criminal justice, organization is of the highest importance. Every day, hour, and minute must be accounted for, and at the same time all bases must be covered. This brings up a problem when trying to run a precinct that employs a lot of police officers. The Chicago Police Department is the principal law enforcement agency of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States, under the jurisdiction of the Mayor of Chicago. The impact of my career goals has not changed about law enforcement, just my thoughts. So, to be efficient and effective this education really needs to be added back into being a requirement in all states. At least, minimum of an Associates in Criminal Justice. Thereafter, education should continue to be ongoing, to keep better policing as a constant pursuit. Reaching this goal will span the career of the officer. Reasons for this is that the magnitude of crime issues has changed and will probably change again.
My interest in law enforcement grew in me at a young age probably around the age of 8. I would always watch the show Cops and that got me really interested. It was not until the age of 10 that I said to myself that I wanted to be a police officer or something in that field. During my years in junior high one of the officers who worked there told me about a program called police explorers, once he explained the program to me I knew that that was what I wanted to do: police work. A week after I turned fourteen I decided to join the Costa Mesa Police explorer program, in order to get I accepted to the program I had to attend four consecutive meetings and on my fourth meeting I was given an application the following week I was interviewed by four police officer; it was scary. This program has taught me many lessons such as responsibility, respect, integrity and many other qualities that one must have to be considered eligible for police work.
The main responsibility of the police is to stop the event of the criminal acts, and when it happens, rapidly establish the culprits and get-together solid confirmation that will affirm the blameworthy and punish the offender through the court (Villiers, 2009). To apply their power, police need to work as stated by the techniques of PACE (Police and Criminal Evidence Act of 1984). Police authorities are the rules for the police on the best way to apply the law to capture someone, or how to treat some individual when suspecting a criminal conduct. However police authorities are likewise a shield for the suspect, guaranteeing that the individual halted or captured by the police is dealt good and there is no abuse of human rights. Recruiting officers is a vital job for any city, state, federal department. The people that are recruited could be the next leaders of the department. Most departments try to pull in the most diverse and qualified applicants that are looking to make law enforcement a career. They also look for applicants that have a commitment in severing their community. The recruiters have a bigger pull of people with the unemployment rate going up. There are more people going back to school to study criminal law and are looking for a career in law enforcement. The recruiters look for people that hold knowledge in law, communication skills, self- discipline, and attention to detail. The new recruit should want to stay learning new things by furthering their education in law enforcement. The recruiters must hold a high standard for hiring police officers because of what the community expects from their law enforcement. Most recruiters have to go by the department’s code of ethics that each department has set for their officers. This has made recruiters come up with new ways of trying to recruit officers. In conclusion, only the officers truly know why they choose to be officers. It has been recorded that here is no denying the influence a family member being in the field has an effect on their decision but through our own investigation there is evidence that the officers believe they chose that career for themselves. It is possible that both a family member and the officer’s personal judgment each played a role in their choice. In fact, we should hope it is that way. We want our officers to feel obligated to protect and serve us as well as feel that it is a decision that they have made for themselves.
Law enforcement is a career that is both violent and rewarding in many capacities. Justice needs to be served in law enforcement and they have a responsibility to uphold the law and serve the people in the community. Law enforcement is crucial in the world today as a global realm as life continues to be more complex and law enforcement struggles to combat many aspects of crime. In order to combat these problems and have a positive future in the criminal justice system, everyone must work together on a bigger scale.
Young people and the police have, for many years, experienced a tense and confrontational relationship (Borgquist & Johnson et al., 1995). This has led to a great wealth of literature based upon the notion of police-youth interaction. Much of this literature has tended to focus upon juvenile criminality and the reasons why young people commit such seemingly high levels of crime. Whilst the relationship between young people and the police force has been widely theorised and explained, there is very little literature on juvenile attiudes towards the police. Research that concerns societies attitudes towards the police force tends to focus upon the views and opinions of adults (Hurst and Frank, 2000). In this first section of my literature review I am going to focus upon work that allows us to gain a deeper understanding of why young people are so important when looking at crime. This section will allow us to comprehend the ways in which, literature suggests, young people view the police. This knowledge will provide a basis for my research in which I look more specifically at youth attitudes towards PCSO’s.
