From 1987-2004 there has been a 22 percentile drop in the polar bear population. There are numerous reasons why polar bears are in tremendous danger extinction . Global warming is by far the most significant reason why polar bears are in danger but really we should be thinking who is responsible for global warming in the first place. While global warming isn’t the easiest to reverse there are other problems that can be solved very easily be solved. Polar bears are increasingly becoming endangered because of drastic changes in the air due to pollution and global warming in the arctic.

Polar bears are in tremendous danger and we are not doing enough to help. A lot of people either don’t know about polar bears or don’t care enough to help. People driving everywhere is one of the main factors of global warming and the temperature going up. Driving is something we rely on so much and it is polluting the air which is causing the ice to melt. When people throw trash in the ocean the seals tend to eat it because the number of fish are going down. When the polar bears eat the seals they inject the plastic from their systems and the plastic starts to kill them. Since the Arctic has a lot of oil and we use a lot of oil they moved some of their businesses there and now the polar bears don’t have anywhere to live. The oil is leaking into the ocean which kills the seals so now they having nothing to survive on.Now that the oil businesses are booming it might take a long time to remove them because humans rely on oil so
